My husband and I went here tonight and where do I even begin?! It’s definitely pricey and I get it, covid happened and it’s not something everyone can afford right now and I completely understand, but I would 100% say it’s worth the price! The cook came up to us at the register to help us decide on our order and was more then accommodating, extremely kind, and man…can he cook!!! The food was phenomenal, we usually get the same thing every time (Texas roll and the Killeen roll which is mouth watering if you haven’t tried it) but we got something new. I got the Salmon teriyaki bento (which by the way, was cooked perfectly and the absolute best salmon I’ve had in this town… can I have the recipe, please? Lol) and my husband got the spicy beef Ramon (not sure on the exact name) and it was amazing too!!! I don’t even go for noodles all that often but man…. I love those noodles! Besides the food, the service was outstanding too! The lady that came to check on us and bring us our food (sorry I’m bad with names, but) was so attentive and caring!! The most important thing is when we left everyone (even the cooks) waved us out and said “goodnight, thank you for coming”. Service like that is hard to find now a days! I want to send out a big thank you to all the Kogi Bowl employees for going above and beyond tonight on not only our delicious food but also the service. My husband and I love this place and will definitely be back!☺️?
As soon as you walk in you are greeted with positive attitudes! The space was open and clean. I got the teriyaki chicken bento box. The food was very yummy. The only (minor) complaint about my meal would be that the chicken was too dry. Other than that, I had a great experience and would definitely go back.
I couldn’t help but bite into a couple of these before the picture. It was such a beautiful roll, fresh and well made. My partner got a spicy pork bowl and she loved it. The staff was nice and attentive and we over all had a great experience. Honestly wish we found this place sooner.
My daughter bought lunch for our family today. Cannot tell you how many levels of terrible it was. When she ordered the price was much more then one the website. Its seems the menu prices went up and the website was not change. The food itself was terrible. The rice was under cooked and lack any flavor. The spicy pork was spicy but again not much flavor. The kogi bowl beef tasted nothing like Korean beef should. The udon tasted like it was a package brand and not very good. Overall it was a bad experience and will not be dining there again.
Food is nasty here! Tried their fried rice before and wasn't impressed. This time I tried 2 sushi rolls... but far the worst sushi I've had! The rice was really hard to chew and both rolls lacked flavor, they just poured a bunch of sauce on it. They also didn't bother to put any Ginger or Wasabi with my rolls. Never going back again.
Not only did they raise prices (which I understand because the economy is terrible), but lowering the portions Aaaaand raising the price at the same time?! I see the car the owner drives. She's not hurting. She's filthy rich and stingy! I've eaten here for 6 years but I'd rather find another sushi joint than put up with this!
It was ok I guess but def not what I expected. The food was mediocre and the wait time was longer than expected for a take out order. $16 for a to go tray of food and $2.50 for a bottle of Dasani water ?. $20 for 1 person eating. Not worth it in my opinion. Thanks and try it for yourself ?.
An alright "bulgogi" bowl. Not as great as the once i had in South Korea but close enough. The prices are going up and it should not be a surprise to anyone. The Soju price is Ridiculous, i refuse to pay $14 for a bottle i buy from a Korean corner store for .28 cents, fun fact: this Soju is made in California, even part of the soju in Korea comes for the U.S.
Love the food here. I get the spicy beef yakisoba and it's enough food for lunch and dinner. It starts getting busy around 11:30 so we tend to get there prior with little to no wait. Friendly service and usually able to dine-in and get out in about 30 minutes.
Great food and wonderful service. Destiny was an amazing server, very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!
