When my son comes to town, he always wants to eat here. We discovered this place a few months back, and love it every single time! His favorite dish he always orders is the barbi fried chicken ( crispy Fried chicken covered in Jamaican barbecue sauce) with white rice (cooked Jamaican style with coconut oil) and plantains (pan fried). This time I ordered the oxtail (cooked in a savory mild stew sauce)with rice and peas ( rice with Jamaican seasoning and beans cooked with coconut oil) and fried plantains. I have to say that this meal is a “roll your eyes to the back of your head” experience. Every single time I’ve had a meal here, the rice and peas (beans) and plantains never disappoint. Just an fyi, the rice and peas/ white rice is savory in case you were wondering. This was my first time to order the oxtail. It was tasty and the meat was falling off the bone. If you’ve cooked oxtail before, you know the process of what it takes to get oxtail so soft it comes off the bone. I can absolutely appreciate every morsel. So far I have had three different dishes here, and every dish is delicious. In addition to the high quality of food, the portions and price are very reasonable for the amount of food they serve. The place is clean, pleasant, and has cool A/C. The service is excellent and the staff is friendly.Go on a gastronomic adventure, try Jamaican Nyammingz.
Great food. I have eaten dine in and call in. They cook to order so do not expect it to be fast but it will be delicious.
This is now my go to restaurant in killeen for Jamaican food, hands down the best I've had in awhile. Tried the oxtail with yellow rice and goat with beans and rice. Both were so lip-smacking good I almost couldn't put my fork down. I'm battling the itis right now. For those who don't know.... the itis is what you get after a home cooked meal that's so good it will put you to sleep. Hands down the food is five stars ? ? ?
The best Jamaican Restaurant by far in Killeen Texas
Being from a large city, I don’t trust people in this area when it comes to food recommendations. Just simply due to the fact that I’m used to better quality food than what is available in Killeen. I had a friend refer me here and let me tell you I was NOT disappointed. Everything was delicious. I could honestly just have the side of cabbage and be completely happy. Please try this place out! You won’t regret it

My family and I enjoy this location. Their jerk seasoning is delicious and they don't ruin the meal by drowning it in sauce. They do provide sauce in a side cup for you. The curry chicken is good too. The jerk wings were kind of dry the last time I had them but they still had good flavor. Thus far this is my favorite Jamaican spot in the Killeen area. Would recommend to others looking for a good Jamaican spot that isn't stingy with the portions.
Staff was so nice and friendly, place was super clean. Menu was pretty extensive - I went for the oxtail lunch special and was NOT disappointed. Just wish they had a beer license so I could’ve enjoyed one with a late Saturday lunch!

When I tell you I know nothing about Jamaican food, I mean my only experience is my long time neighbor from Jamaica who always made sure we were never hungry and had rum cake every Christmas, bless that woman. This place honestly tasted better than her cooking. The rice and peas was so buttery and light, the chicken very flavorful. I’ll definitely be back to try more.
