I'm literally typing this review while eating their food I wanted the smothered pork chops but they were out of pork chops so I settled with the basket that came with fries chicken shrimp and fish ? whew and let me tell y'all it was well worth my money I had forgot about that porkchop I had my mind on and that black cherry tea now y'all outta be ashamed for making that tea so good? I hope the strawberry shortcake is as good as everything else thank you so much for filling my Sunday with good food . Pray this establishment grow with many blessings and people to come in and try their food .
This small restaurant is veteran owned. They provided excellent service and the food was so good! The ambiance was nice and cozy. It gave us an a right at home type of feel. I will visit this restaurant again.

Food was delicious but the service was very slow. I had the catfish and grits and every bite was flavorful and delicious. Definitely need more staff but the southern food flare is definitely there. I don't think I will be dining in anytime soon but I will definitely be calling in for pick-up.
This was the best shrimp and grits we've had since moving from New Orleans 10 years ago. The wait staff was friendly, and all of the dishes we had were delicious (especially the non traditional strawberry shortcake ?). We'll definitely be back and love supporting family businesses. Thanks for the wonderful experience!
Their excellent customer service is utmost. But that food though, SMH, is "off the chain." ...so delicious, so proportioned, so homestyle and always right on time. There cafeteria menu gives a delicious meat and 2 sides which is really 3. Just check it out for yourself! You won't regret it.

Great customer service. Food was great. Food temperature was just right. Well seasoned and very tasty. It's been hard to find good home cooked soul foods that hit the taste buds just right... boys enjoyed the wings, fish, shrimp and grits; Wow truly amazing and tasty. Smothered pork chops were awesome ?. I will definitely be back
Great food and reasonable prices. Had the Brunch Special and Dinner Buffet to go. Smothered pork chops/rice with Mac n cheese, greens, cornbread (add on cabbage & candied yams) was totally delicious. The rub chicken was great also. All the servers were very friendly, helpful and courteous....We will definitely return again. If you're looking for great food at reasonable price this is the place!
