Best Brisket I've had in a long time oh and that mac n cheese yummm... my bestoe loved the potato salad we are not from around here but I will definitely be back for more...
This was not worth the $18 I spent! I’ve never tasted Mac n cheese so unseasoned. The greens are way to sweet. The ribs was decent yet they tasted a little old. Maybe consider trying out a new cook or something. ?
Took a chance and tried this place out. I got a brisket potato thinking there was no way it could go wrong I love potatoes I love brisket but the potato was lukewarm with flimsy skin and no flavoring, the brisket cold, mushy, overly saucy and super sweet. The nice gentleman who took my order was kind enough to heat it up for me but it didnt end up helping. I was super hungry but despite this I couldn't finish it. Tried to purchase it with my second card so it wouldnt come out of my earnings but wasnt able to. Took a $13 hit. I wouldn't reccomend. ?
Quality went right into the toilet.The wife and I went to grab dinner here, as we haven't been there in some time, decided hey let's grab something from there. But as soon I saw them start to make my wife's plate, I instantly said don't bother ordering anything for me. But as I looked at the menu and prices per weight, I also noticed that she got slightly under what she was supposed to but still paid full price. She took a bite of beans, one bite of sausage and tossed the rest, didn't even want the peach cobbler.I try to never leave bad reviews but I'm kinda upset for my wife and the price verses what she ate, a total of 3 bites.
I use to love this place, not anymore.They have changed their menu and selling by the weight. I got a plate with 2 meats and 2 sides and it cost $23! The quality of the food wasn't the same. I wasted money. The sausage was dry and the brisket wasn't done. The peach cobbler lacked taste.
The rib tips and spare ribs were tender and on point. The side dishes need work. The corn bread was dense and under cook the collard greens had a burnt taste it was horrible. But it's a BBQ place and their BBQ was good
Excellent Experience!! Food was great and the customer service was awesome. The gentleman who took and prepared my order was very much that, a gentleman. Don't get to see those much anymore. Thank you!
It's not the same quality since the last time I was there. They are selling by weight like Rudy's does, but unfortunately Rudy's taste and quality is better. What happened to the old fashioned BBQ places were you can just buy a plate with the sides???
