I just have to say if you’re looking for a SUPERB burger ? join then look no further than Black Megs. My ordered consisted of the Black Meg Deluxe & I recommend adding avocado ? and bacon ? which is a GREAT edition. Babe got the Redneck & completely loved it. In addition, I also ended up getting some yummy ? onion rings and a baked ? potato. Love this location WAYYY better than the one in Cove. Overall great food, great & friendly staff, & overall great place definitely left a HAPPY happy ? customer.
Can you say Diiiiiiaaamond in the rough?!!! Are you kidding me? This evening I was craving a good burger and was recommended to visit this place. Now I can see why. The burger is simply delicious. Cooked perfectly. So juicy o almost thought I was at a friend's house for a cookout and he brought it right off his grill. Fried shrimp also delicious and perfectly cooked. Kudos to the Chef! Seriously people even the fries were fresh. Clean and super cool little spot. Great neighborhood vibe. I found my spot anytime I get my burger cravings. Thank you guys!
Honestly nothing outstanding about this location. The individual taking the order was highly unenthusiastic about his job. The burger (which I've heard nothing but good stuff about) was bland and not very flavorful. I had gotten the Meg, was sizeable and filling but not anything outstanding. Dining area, even as a fast food chain was quit dirty.
Black Meg is an excellent place to eat a great burger for a decent price. The Meg Sauce is on point! Service was quick and friendly, food was freshly made. Definitely gonna go here again.

First time trying the food. It was great! You can taste the freshness of the beef burger. The fries have a special house seasoning that just make them on point. I will for sure be returning!
Ridiculous prices and up charge for literally EVERYTHING. No free water and drink sizes were tiny. Prices listed were not what I paid considerably more for on my receipt. Very shady. Fries were old. Not worth money and very disappointing for “best burger in Killeen.”
I did not dine in, but the facility is very clean inside. I should have gotten the name of the cashier.. but he has great customer service. He was patient with me as a new customer. He recommended that I try the fried pickles and I'm so glad I did. I'll definitely be back in the near future.
Amazing handmade patties, not from a box of frozen meat. Definitely ask for the megsauce for the fries.
Haven't eaten here in years and I must say it was very good (it was not the last time I was here.) The burger and fries have way more size/sustenance than you can get for the price at a commercial chain. 2 meals under 20 and they were actually large enough to share 1 meal between 2 people. I highly recommend going here rather than a chain burger joint. Yes, your meal may not be as fast but it is definitely going to be good, hot, and served with a friendly smile.Support your mom and pops businesses!
