We always enjoy dining at the Rails when we visit Kerrville. Really nice place and the food is excellent especially the Steak Medallions. The deserts are awesome also. A really nice dining experience.

Rails never fails to provide 5 star food and service.

Journey was very friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food was excellent. The only suggestion I have is that at least one main salad should be meat-free. We live in San Antonio, and Rails is a “Destination Restaurant” for us!

Decided to try this place while visiting my in-laws and was bot disappointed. Our server Steph was amazing. She was very kind, attentive, and didn't make us wait for anything. The food was beyond delicious. We plan on going afain, hopefully soon

The ambience was wonderful, just as described online. The serving staff was amazing, some of the best service that we’ve had. The desserts were fabulous, but the portions small. The main entrées were not the quality of food that one would expect for the prices. The salads were not fresh, greens a bit wilted. The beef marsala was not prepared as described in the menu. It was lacking scallions and Portabella mushrooms. It basically consisted of slow cooked beef swimming in thick brown gravy, and a scoop of rice in the center of the plate.

Nice, quiet place to dine. They have a variety of dishes on the menu that would appeal to everyone.
