Food was tasty, server was very nice and efficient, view of the Guadalupe from their deck is great.

Lovely atmosphere, we had the peel and eat shrimp, fried pickles, and seafood gumbo - skip the gumbo.
It's a friendly place, a lot of locals, good food, and the view is great, right by the river. When I went there the customer service was food. I honestly went there for a happy hour with coworkers, first time here. For the first time it was great. Didn't have anything to eat, but that shrimp platter that my coworker order looked good!!! She inhaled it. If you want a nice relaxing, Just on the road place to rest up and take in the view, it's the place.
I give this place a one because the service is extremely slow and the waitress is bordering on rude. Oysters Rockefeller were like none of ever had before. Seeing as I am from New Orleans and I've eaten oysters Rockefeller all over the United States; I can definitely say they missed the mark. Worst ever tasted.. The grilled oysters were also not up to par but much better than the Rockefeller.. I can't comment on my salad and how good it is because I'm still waiting for it. Over 35 minutes for a green salad and a cup of gumbo. Don't bother eating here or should I say waiting for food here..
The fried mushrooms were perfectly done. The crayfish tails were a but to salty and a bit fishy tasting.The cerveche was great as was the crayfish pool though again a tad salty and slightly more fishy tasting.Positive note the portion was yhuge! Atmosphere was very relaxed and the wait staff was on the ball and very helpful while not pestering our table.
