After reading the origin of this attraction, I appreciated it even more. The creator of this attraction put a lot of hard work and time, and then donated the park. I respect someone's creativity and time. Anyways, a quick stop to appreciate the replica, keep in mind it is only 60% as tall as original.
If you can't visit the real one, in England, then this one will have to do. If you are close by it's worth 30 minutes of your time. If you are more than an hour and half away, not worth the detour if you have other things planned.
A not-quite scale replica of what a complete Stonehenge would have been. But unlike the real thing, you can actually get right up to the "stones". Definitely worth a stop, especially since there are other sights to check out here on the grounds of the Hill Country Arts Foundation.
Not a whole lot going on, tho to be fair we visit during the pandemic so some activities were not in place. You can see this place in 10 mins, including the art center. We did go back to watch the live theatre show which the weather was great and the show was cheesy, not worth the money. But it goes to a cause so that was ok. I can say I went.....not sure if I would make this a focal point of a trip tho.
I went at the beginning of September, the visit overall was great! There is some huge trees right next to it. The Guadalupe rover is there too, it is a really pretty place for a picnic and some cute pictures! Go ahead and visit it!

Their $6 meals for two are exceptional. The portions are large. For one person, I was able to get 3-4 meals out of each container. The food itself was delicious, fresh and made of quality ingredients. I highly recommend Encore Catering. They are providing a needed service during this trying time and doing an excellent job of it.
