Really good place for sandwiches and soup. They are only open for lunch so they have a great take out business. Pies and other bakery products are great as well. Sandwiches are large so if not that hungry, try a half sandwich. I really like their Ruben. Everything is made in house, even their bread. Staff was friendly with good service.
Service superior. The food was great. Tasted delicious. Very nice polite personnel. Very good menu. A must to go place. It's a sandwich, soup and pie place all homemade including the bread and pies. And they sell whole pies and different kinds of breads.
From the moment I walked in this place I fell in love. I had a old smokey sandwich. Th bread was amazing! Then of course I had a piece of peanut butter chocolate pie. out of this world! Customer service was on point. Nice to see smiling faces. The man in front of me was older and having a hard to picking out his food. The cashier was so patient with him. I will be back soon!
This place right here is my Mecca. I've been in the Navy for 8 years and every single time I'm on leave its my tradition to stop here and enjoy the delicious food. Listen folks, I've lived all over the U.S. from coast to coast with multiple cross country drives under my belt. So believe me when I say that there is no where else like this place. Personally, my favorite is the brainstorm (warmed) with a side keylime cheese cake (best) followed by turtle cheesecake (2nd best). You truly can't go wrong with any of their desserts with my family's favorites being banana pie and chocolate &peanut butter pie.Take your family, dates, or buddies here and you will never be disappointed. Food is delicious and reasonably priced with the service always being quick and friendly. I will continue my tradition until one of us passes and or my doctor tells me to stop eating pies (still gonna do it).
I have now eaten at both the Kerrville location and the Boerne shop. Great soup and salads! Not fancy just fresh and good. Nice to get salad without all the trendy stuff restaurants tend to put in everything. Nice staff at both locations.
They always have good fresh food but the real star is their pies. Have gotten many of their pies multiple times for holiday events and they are always wonderful.

The baked potatoes are so big! And so delicious. I like to put their delicious broccoli cheddar soup on top of it. The chef salad is always fresh with lots of toppings and the ranch dressing is my husbands favorite ranch in Kerrville. And of course can't forget the lemon meringue pie i always have to get 2 slices it's my grandparents favorite.
Sandwiches were nothing special, soup was good. Pies look interesting, but we did not partake. We would probably not go back.
