Hit or miss menu items and variable quality. I had their seafood pasta a few weeks ago, great taste and ingredients, but the pasta was broken into small 1/2 to 1/4 inch pieces - nothing like "hand-rolled fettuccini claimed in the menu. Last night my daughter in law had the same dish -- same great taste and ingredients and this time, whole lengths of fettuccini. Another example was the cherries pavlova. A few weeks ago this desert had a thin crispy shell of meringue generously filled with light and creamy mascarpone. Last night it was virtually all meringue (that was tough rather than light and crispy) and almost no mascarpone. In both cases the cherries ands sauce were excellent. The salmon and rack of lamb were excellent, as was the whisky cake desert. The duck was okay.
Our waiter, Tyler, was excellent. His timing was perfect -we never felt rushed or had to wait for him to come to our table. The SeaBass was excellent as always. Itâs one of my favorite places to eat.
Waiter was extremely helpful with suggestions and gave thorough explanation for all questions.
We were celebrating our anniversary. Everything was enjoyable and delicious. We always choose 1011 for special occasions and date night.
Dinner was excellent with our steaks cooked to perfection. Very friendly staff and a lovely view of the river.
Always great.
The mussels and the seafood pasta were our faves!!
I was very disappointed in our visit to 1011 Bistro this time. The last time we were here during the week there was no corking fee for bringing your own wine. This time they charged $15 to just open the bottle. Our service was only fair. She was not as attentive as she should have been allowing our water glasses to get empty twice. The time between ordering our food and receiving it was also quite excessive. Unfortunately I didn't time it, but I'm sure it was at least 30 minutes. I had the Sirloin and it was over done. I asked for Medium and there was barely any pink at all in the center. My wife had the Salmon and she said hers was delicious and was well presented. Did not think it was worth the price.
Loved it! The location and ambiance is absolutely excellent. Definitely NOT what I was expecting in Kerrville and I'm glad I did a search to see what my options were. The street parking caused me some concern at first, but that quickly subsided. Staff was professional (yea Brady!) and friendly and the food was excellent! If the rack of lamb is available when you go, you will not be disappointed. Bottom line, I'll visit again next time I visit Kerrville.
The food is absolutely wonderful. It is such a great treat to dine at the waterâs edge. Very relaxing. Everything is prepared to perfection!!! Love the black garlic butter for filets and the orange butter to go with bread.
