The pizza is delicious, but the kids spaghetti (for 7$ by the way) is far below my expectations for this place.If it would've been 2.99, or even 3.99 it would've made a bit more sense... I thought it was just a quick mistake... but I ordered 2, both are the same... (i wouldn't have said a word if one was short and the other was reasonable)All that to say, eat the pizza here, its really good! (but if this is what you get for spaghetti, I wouldn't risk anything else on the menu)
This place has great pizza, with just the right ratio of sauce and cheese! Never seems to saucy or overly cheese. On a whim, I also ordered a few vanilla cannoli for dessert for my family to try. I am always hesitant because my husband always compares them to those found in Italian neighborhoods of NY & Boston… They were hands down the best, most authentic cannoli we have found in the DFW area. Crispy, firm shells, and perfectly textured filling. Thank you so much for the wonderful dinner!
Best pizza I’ve had in a long time.
We ordered the Molly with a gluten free crust. I have never had chicken on a pizza before, but the description sounded good. It was sensational!Also done and delivered quickly. Great service.
Let’s see, first, the pizza was the most flavorless pizza I’ve ever had. The margherita pizza has NO basil? And very skimpy toppings. No seasoning, bland bland bland. Cheese pizza, bland. Dry. Crust is paper thin and has no crunch or flavor. Large salad is more like a small. romaine not even cut up, and skimpy toppings. What is even going on? I’m assuming this place was good at some point given the reviews but the food we got today for our business meeting made Cicis look better!!! Not one happy customer out of atleast ten of us. Waste of $100
I ordered a pick up order through slice. Our food was still cold and tasted like the freezer. The cheesesticks were soggy and the cheese was hard. The salad was not good. The only edible part of the meal was the cheese bread that comes with the fettuccine. I'm so disappointed as we had grown to love this place prior to this experience.
Absolutely great pizza. Next time I want to get a cauliflower crust and vegan cheese option. Thanks so much Palio's folks for the great service as well!
Denis needs a new job! I ordered food tonight after being placed on hold for 5 mins Denis picks up the line and takes my order. During ordering I had ordered a Baked Ziti, then I saw on the menu a chicken parm pasta, so I asked for the chicken parm instead, then I ordered a Alfredo cheese pizza with a side of marinara on the side, Denis repeated the order back to me correctly, (without the baked ziti). My wife picked up the food on the way home from work and upon seeing the food, I notice the baked ziti and the chicken parm pasta, pizza, but no marinara, yet we were charged for it all. After noticing the mistake I called Palio’s about the issue and after explaining what had happened to Denis, he takes a big exaggerated sigh and in a very passive aggressive tone says, “ok what would you like us to do about it.” I told Denis well I guess nothing and so here we are. Denis for future reference it might be best to leave the customer service to someone else, because you sir are the reason for this negative review.
I was actually pretty surprised when the pizza came out, it was very good & satisfying! The cheese sticks- definitely can pass on them next time, they did not taste good at all but I will be back.The staff was cool too, thanks for the food y’all!
