The service was great but the food was pricey! I had a really really thin chicken fried steak, homemade Mac and cheese and a side salad. I would have to say that the side salad was the best thing. The Mac and cheese was brown and dripping in grease. A small loaf of bread for an appetizer was $6. Thankfully my friend used a gift card so I didn't have to pay for it because it definitely was NOT worth the price.
Tried this place out for the first time tonight and it didn’t disappoint. The appetizer, entree and dessert were amazing from start to finish. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the wait staff was super friendly and inviting. Highly recommended!
"Finding the happiness and finding the satisfaction in continuously serving somebody else something good to eat is what makes a really good restaurant."~Mario Batali-Another word for it is passion, a genuine passion for people and to serve them something they think is great. That's what I found at Horizon 76, a passionate, charming owner/Executive Chef, Dwight. He came to our table. and we had the nicest conversation. His passion was unmistakable, and he brought us a cup of his extraordinary chili so we could try it. It was fabulous! Our food was great, and the experience was even better. This is a rare, special place where you will feel completely at home!I found happiness there, and you will too!
Went here for happy hour and had the cucumber margarita and sliders. The margarita was good but not great not sure if premixed or lack of tequila but it looked pretty. The sliders were delicious and a meal in itself. Large portions here.
Absolutely loved our experience, the food was incredible, I had the Angry Cowboy burger, I can’t even the flavors were phenomenal. My wife had the Mac and cheese bacon burger, uffff just another level. The Chef stopped by to check in, which we really appreciated. We are definitely coming back.
Outstanding service and food. Chef Dwight made this a delightful experience, explaining the menu and making us feel welcome. The smothered chicken was full of flavor and so was the smashed burger. Highly recommend!
I hate to leave such a negative review as we’ve had great experiences in the past but there seems to be a trend with the head trainer Missy not offering good service. We chose to eat here as a special Easter treat. When we arrived they weren't busy at all and we were seated immediately. Husband ordered chicken and waffles. Kid ordered a side of fruit and apple juice as she’d snacked on Easter treats. I myself wasn’t very hungry and tried to order a kid’s meal but our server said I couldn’t and she’d have to up charge me. I don’t really have an issue with this but I’ve ordered the kid’s meal many a time before without any issue. She got uppity with me about it and said she was the head trainer…ok congrats. We had to ask for refills, she wasn’t very attentive and the burger bun was super chewy so I ended up just eating the meat. We will be choosing a different restaurant next time we decide to go out for “a nice meal”.Edited to add: Upon introducing herself to our table she said… “I’m here to bother you today.”Just not the experience I’m looking for in a nice restaurant…
Great spot- great menu- lots of options. We had a large party for lunch. (9). We had a few make healthy choices, a few salads, a few of the pot pie thing.. everyone enjoyed their food. I would say the owner really seems to care about the experience his customers are having but needs to pay closer attention.. our server ( Missy) behaved more like she should be at a denny’s. Nothing wrong with Denny’s but we didn’t choose Denny’s. She was very short/curt, (high pitched yep to people in the party when they made requests) and at one point even said “does anyone need anything else from the back so I can make just one trip” implying that people were inconveniencing her. We paid and gave more than 20% tip but it sure left a bad taste. Especially after such good food.Food- 9Atmosphere- 9Service- 5Return- doubtful
Wonderful comfort food. Eating outside was even better and the service was great.
A good casual spot for a high-end burger, or a steak if you're interested. The building looks great, boasting a nice, modern design outside with a fairly large patio area. The inside, however, is somewhat basic, with everything seemingly made of generic brown wood...but at least there seems to be ample seating. The main gripe with this place is the service; while not terrible, it was definitely slow and spotty at points during our meal... unusual given that there was plenty of staff running around. The food is definitely their strong suit, with their meats coming from local butcher shop Z-Bar. I went with the Texan burger, and the large beef patty was covered with the perfect amount of chili to be flavorful but not sloppy...every bite was perfect. The duck fries felt a little dried out, hopefully it was just a bad batch. Cost-wise, it wasn't too much damage for some great burgers and beer. They are definitely good enough to warrant a second visit to try a new burger (or maybe steak).
