The service was nice and welcoming ?, however the coffee tasted watered down. Food was okay for a quick bite to eat. Our first time trying it put today.

First time to try Beacon Cafe. I ordered Caramel coffee. It was too sweet to drink. I apologized to the very sweet waitress and explained I thought it would be caramel flavored coffee. She advised it is coffee with a squirt of caramel syrup. I ordered Uncle Paul's Biscuits and gravy. Gravy was too thick and creamy and fairly bland tasting. Biscuit bland as well. Scrambled egg was fluffy and bland. Regular coffee was fine. Service was wonderful. Very friendly wait person and possible owner manager was super nice. Maybe I'll try again and go for the Migas. It says it's spicy but I'll have to be the judge of that.
The Beacon is one of our few regular breakfast places where we always get good service and a big tasty breakfast every time.You must try their pineapple upside down pancake, even if you don't like pineapple or cake...Trust me on this, it's wonderful ?
Didn't realize this place was so close by but I'm really glad we found it! It wasn't busy when hubby and I dropped in so we had great service and the food was outstanding. This is gonna become a regular breakfast place for us I'm sure. Very, very happy with it.

Service was good and the French Toast had really good flavor. My issue was with how thick the French Toast was, I was expecting a nice Custard consistency in the middle and the center ended up being dry. With that said I do plan on going back with my wife to try the homemade biscuits and gravy. Would have definitely given more stars if the French Toast would have been executed better.

Enjoyed the breakfast items received. Pancakes were fluffy, big, and delicious, not dry or overcooked. Reasonable price. Open by 7am during the week which is good for early risers. Decent selection of choices to satisfy most appetites. Stuffed French toast is yum!
