It just had the appearance of clean, but all our elbows and feet were consistently sticking to the table and floor even before we ordered anything.Crab Cake Burger (3/5) - Good seasoning, was told this is what we should come for, but was not super impressed with the taste. Seemed pretty generic.Oysters (4/5) - Good! Whoever their supplier is had some good quality oysters, a teensy bit bland, but I would see myself ordering this again.Fried Soft-Shell Crab (2/5) - Although it came with 2, these were very small in nature, so it had almost no meat. They were over battered so we basically just ate fried batter with how small the crabs were.Grilled Shrimp Po-Boy (2.5/5) - The grilled shrimp alone was delicious honestly, but everything around it was not. There were 4 shrimp for a sub that was 8-10 inches in length. The bread you could tell was either generic store bought or came from the freezer.Overall, the food is sub-par. The portions are like 3 servings of sides per person so we ended up basically packing to-go of just the sides. It felt like with the prices that we were mainly paying to bring home a bunch of fries and tots. We don't really see ourselves coming back or recommending this.
BEST CRAWFISH RESTAURANT EVER!!! My favorite are the oh my goodness fries and the garlic butter crawfish. Asked the server and she said the combo mixed flavor was also great. I gave it a try today and it was so delicious. It was kind of like a mixed between garlic butter, cajun and other spices. It was almost like garlic butter but a little bit more buttery and less salty. 100% recommended.
Loved it! Very relaxed atmosphere and great waitstaff. Shrimp po’boy w the yummy rice, and oysters were fantastic/tasty/fresh. Big portions, and had leftovers for a couple days. I didn’t have the crawfish, but everyone around us seemed to be really enjoying that particular item from the menu.
I can't believe it took me so long to try this place, the food was fresh and the service is top notch everyone is constantly asking you if you need anything else. Ok now to the food, Monday thru Friday they have happy hour from 3-6 pm with some really good deals like 75 cent gulf oysters and 2 dollar micheladas. The gumbo was so good I liked it way better than Captain Tom's. The crawfish we're decent sized and their house sauce is very tasty This will become a stable in my weekly gambit.
I ordered 5lbs of crawfish. When I came home to weigh the bag, it was 5.2lbs. I'm like, okay, that sounds right! When I opened the bag, there were 2 corns and 3 medium sized potatoes, which came complimentary. They were EASILY 1lb. I feel like they shorted me. The flavor is great and most of the crawfish tasted fresh. But I don't know, honesty is very important to me.
Food was great, the service not so much. The music is way too loud for a family type restaurant, you can't hear the people seated at your table or the server. The waitstaff seemed to be more interested in standing than working, I still couldn't tell you which one was our waitress. My husband is still waiting for his soda refill!
Very very good. I had the grilled fish and shrimp with fries and my wife had grilled shrimp with sweet potato fries. Flavorings were present but not enough to overpower the delicate flavor of shrimp or fish. Very well done, see you next time.
The seafood boil was delicious. The happy hour oysters are priced right & the drinks were great!
Good Viet Cajun place. Everything was good and I really enjoyed the fried shrimp poboy. The only issue is the boiled seafood seems a bit pricey.
The seafood is out of this world! The snow crabs are juicy, packed with flavor (we went with Cajun) and so fresh! My daughter had a whole plate of fried oysters and she wants to go back for more? The service is awesome- the servers are helpful and very considerate! A definite A+++++!!
