Pork chop was devoured and shrimp and grits were good. I do wish you would go back to the original salmon dish. I loved the grains better.
This was my first time coming here. I haven't lived in Katy since 1997, so a group of friends decided to meet up here for brunch while i was in town. I got the Farmhouse Benedict and was very happy with my choice! The sauce was delicious, food tasted fresh, serving size was perfect. Then of course I had to try the whiskey cake, after all, they named the restaurant after it. It did not disappoint, I enjoyed every single bite!I would absolutely recommend this place and would love to return and try some other menu items!
The food was great, as always, however the service this time wasnât great. It wasnât that busy so Iâm not sure what the issue was, but the waitress seemed to be flustered.
Had a reservation, got seated right away, table off to the side near the back. Not prime. Food was decent. Husband had the half roasted chicken. It was a very small chicken. The cauliflower that came with it was outstanding. I had the crispy chicken spinach salad. It was good, but the chicken was giant chunks of fried chicken. Not really what I envisioned. A bit too much for that salad. Grilled chicken would of been better or smaller pieces of chicken. The beer, Twin Peaks was excellent. Was disappointed they didnât have short ribs. I was all set to order that. They took it off menu. The server was pleasant and attentive.

Service and food was great! We brought family here that was visiting from New York and they enjoyed everything. Thank you for a wonderful experience! My pork chop was more than I could have expected!
Limited menu. Not much variety to choose from. (Not as it had previously been) Not all plates and cups were clean. Order did not come out correct and then they tried to charge us for their mistake. The green chili grits were delicious but the rest of the food was marginal at best. Service was OK but nothing to write home about. Probably wonât be going back. At least this location
I have a wonderful experience with my kids. It was very quiet. Nice area. Very clean. Itâs a must try restaurant!!!
Their water jugs they put on the table are disgusting. There is residue all on the inside that breaks apart when you touch it. If thatâs what they put on the table for people to see, I canât imagine whatâs going on in the kitchen. We got up and left, because the restaurant was filthy and we couldnât get past the nasty water jugs.
