We really enjoyed our time here, very calm, fast service, variety of sushi. The only thing I didnt like Volcano roll wasnt the same taste as my previous visit (it felt like less cilantro). However, overall good! :)
Overall, I was completely satisfied with Tsukiji Fusion Sushi. The selection of rolls was a bit more than your average American Sushi eatery. It seemed as though there was essentially every combination you could want in terms of pairing.I've tried to incorporate more patience in my life as of late. If there was anything about the experience that was less than 5 stars, it would be that the service was a bit slow. Not bad service by any means!!! So, just be patient and enjoy the experience if you decide to check them out! Both rolls (pictured) were very tasty! I'd definitely eat here again!
I took my 15 year old daughter here, she loved it because of the “anime”experience. Not that, that is what they are known for (but if you have a pre-teen or teenager that is into that), and you want great food this is the place for you. Great happy hour menu, the wine is served in a champagne glass, but it was excellent.
We went in for lunch and we weren't disappointed at all. The place was super clean, the staff wore masks, and it wasn't very crowded either. We ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box, it comes with 4pieces of sushi, fried veggies (carrot, potato, broccoli, Onion), chicken breast in chosen sauce, a small side of salad, a small bowl of miso soup, and white rice (can be switched to fried rice for $1). And it was absolutely delicious. Loved every last bite of it.Another thing we ordered was the Charizard roll which contains steak and crab. It was delicious too. Definitely try their specialty rolls and they have a wide variety of those. The portion size is generous too. They also have squeaky clean restrooms that has a space for changing baby diapers as well.4 stars simply because we've had better sushi in Houston. Although this place is worth a try!
I’ve tried all the expensive overrated spots in the city, but none compares to this place! Best sushi I’ve had, the quality is top notch. I always ask for their recommendations and it never disappoints. Do NOT pass on the rodeo roll, it’s one of the best
Worst experience eating out anywhere. Ive been to Japan and I’ll tell you this is far from a Japanese restaurant. The waitress are the worst. No greeting, they rush you so they can sit and eat by the bar. It was just bad. Never coming back here.
The food was great! We went for Valentine's day lunch and they were so sweet to give me a rose. They also had some decorations up too.
My one and single complaint was not having an extra stomach when eating here.Tsukiji Fusion is a really cool, clean, relaxing sushi place. The decorations are not typical Japanese-style, but it is more modern and relaxed. An excellent place to bring a dateThe food was obviously phenomenal, and the crew were helpful and patient when asking them questions. If you like sushi, you will not be disappointed eating here.
Really basic food -Not good at all- , really bad service -Kern-, A real dissapointmet, salad as side -It seems taken oit from Ooove Garden!- tasteless sushi, incred8ble to find such a bad rice into a "Suishi" restaurant
Maybe the funky-tasting water should have been a red flag. Maybe the sticky table, or the all-encompassing smell of stale soy sauce. Stupidly, I ignored all that, and ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen. BAD mistake. The broth was thin, watery, and fully overpowered by the seaweed, which had been cut into little shreds instead of a single neat rectangle. The egg was overcooked, and looked like it had simply been dropped into the broth at some point, to become a shapeless, nasty-looking blob, instead of a neatly-cut half. The chashu pork had the texture of Spam, and half the flavor of same. Plenty of noodles, but that is hardly the saving grace for a bad bowl of ramen. Easily, the absolute WORST bowl of ramen ever in my experience. Will NEVER return!
