I go to this place every single Thursday for my family dinners. I love their food and to be honest the food is still amazing and incredible to this day. The only reason that I’m giving them a one star rating is because today when I went in to do the one thing that brings my family together the guy that was giving me my food asked me in a condescending voice why me and my family only come on Thursdays. I told him that we really like the food and he said never mind and it was just really confusing. He has been really rude on the phone and it has not been like this in the past. we will not be coming back here. The change in their behavior is inappropriate. We are just so kind and wanted some food. As always, love you Houston.
The restaurant is very good and nice team. When I gave orders over phone and they have responding very respectful and this is the one good restaurant in Katy, many times we gave catering and it was excellent taste. All of us enjoyed the food, good options, We will definitely be eating here again.
Ahhh, I’m so happy that Tru India is back open for dining! All the same awesome fresh and flavorful dishes as before. And still THE BEST chicken 65 in town! Customer service was amazing. Rahm was helpful and friendly. Thanks for everything, glad y’all are fully open again.
I ordered bhindi Masala expecting it to be nice and flavorful but it was so bad. All the okra were so tight and full of fiber that gets stuck to your teeth. When we buy okra, if we get any hard okra while cutting it we throw it away. But looks like truindia uses the very bad quality frozen okra. Moreover in this they also mixed bell peppers along with it. It was extremely oily and really bad dish. Be careful when you order food here. One star because there is nothing lower than that.
Pure garbage. Air conditioner don't work. Food has hair, employee don't cover head, employees have no restaurant clothes, flies moving form bathroom to on food. FOOD IS SERVED ON PAPERPLATES, PLASTIC SPOON. NO WATER IS SERVED. ASKED FOR TISSUE PAPER THEY OFFER ONE SINGLE PAPER.
Man I don`t usally write reviews... but this place's malai chicken and chicken 65 dosa is out of this world. The staff is also super nice and refer to you as "sir". They try and make you have the best experience. They also have steals. Ive eaten at Himalays shiv sagar honest savana bhavan and this tops all of them easy for food quality and price.EDIT: Malia Kebab raised by $2 so not the best price but still decent
Items we ordered for a party of 30 are Gobi Manchurian, Mirapakodi, Chicken and Veg Biryani, Malai Methi Paneer, Chicken Curry. Every dish is tasty. Try it out at TruIndia, Katy restaurant.
All items ordered for the banquet turned out to be great. Mirapakodi appetizer seems to be TruIndia’s signature dish and I can vouch for that. Try it for yourself.
I ordered a dosa . The coconut chutney was disgusting and watery - I guess they ran out of chutney and just added water . Sambhar was watery and terrible too.What a low standard- terrible food .Don’t go here!
Never been received the Take out in time every time they do late never dilevered in time . But food is very tasty and good.
