Got there around 10am 15 min wait seated within the time but it went downhill from there server couldn't keep up with the drinks orders had to grab another server to place our order even tho we were seated right in front of the original server (at bar area) observed the "manager" not acknowledging a customer but redirecting to a server (the one that was to be waiting on us ) after four other tables that were seated after us (they got thier food promptly )and collaring the hostess we received our food (abt an hour after being seated). It was.disappointing .the food was ok so there was a no win. I do think with proper up front management the visit may have been viewed different but I would not recommend this location

A million restaurants in Katy and arriving at 11, we thought we would be seated quickly. After a Short wait we sat down in a very busy restaurant. Ordered Reuben and chick salad. Husband had hamburger and fries. Everything was so good! Friendly staff good food!

The food is always hot, fresh and delicious plus a friendly staff!! Family favorite

Service was great and fast. A bit of a wait when entering, I didn't mind. We ordered the shrimp-and-grits and the biscuits and Gravy, definitely worth adding the 2 dollar eggs. I liked that they came to ask about our order again instead of making it and hoping it was what I ordered. The only thing I would say would be their floors. Could be dried soap or something but you're sticking at every step. Then our cup was slightly leaking juice. Other than that, will return again.

Great Service and atmosphere! Food was outstanding! Being from Louisiana we stuck to Texas / breakfast menu items. Tea was top notch.

An ok place for breakfast if you're waiting for Costco to open. Otherwise it was very expensive and mediocre tasting food. The coffee was not good, weak and almost $4! Wouldn't be bad if it was good but my wife and I didn't even finches first cup. The pancakes had a watered-down taste and the rest was bland. Before tip it was $40, way too expensive for regular breakfast. The service was good and the place was clean so I will give them credit for that.

We tried The Toasted Yolk for the first time today. We were lucky enough to arrive Saturday just before it got really busy. The service was friendly and prompt. The staff wore masks and the place was clean.I ordered the shrimp-n-grits. They were delicious. Really flavorful. The grits were perfectly cooked. Perfect ratio of cheesyness and butter. Nice sized shrimp. And I loved the fried tortillas served with it.Now my husband ordered the Pork Chop Breakfast with grits. He wasn't thrilled with his porkchops because he said they were over cooked to the point if being dry.So we will go back another day and order some other things from the menu. The menu options are plentiful and all sound appealing. I look forward to trying it again.

It was inviting with good decor. We wanted to seat outside but there was a problem with the door so couldn't do that. The food was a good potion and tasted good. Service was good too. We will be returning and hopefully, the outside would be accessible then

Food was subpar , hard biscuit, scorched veggie omelette and tasteless fruit. Potatoes hash was pleasant to eat. I guess $14.00 wasted. I tried to eat it but I had enough of no taste. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing #lessonlearned

The food is absolutely delicious! I had the chicken salad sandwich with a cilantro shrimp salad. I ate it all! Full of flavor. My BFF had the Power Bowl. The hostess (did not get her name; blonde with Saran wrap on one of her arms) was not pleasant, she rolled her eyes when we asked for a booth and never made eye contact with us.The waitress (Keila) was very nice and professional. She smiled when she spoke with us and always made eye contact.Definitely will be returning. Hopefully the hostess is replaced by then.
