So creamy and good! The flavors are more intense than icecream without the brain freeze.
We were looking for a new treat place nearby and The Gelatist did not disappoint! The gelato was so creamy, with no icicles, and there are a variety of flavors. There are a lot of dessert options, and you can get combinations, too. Cookie gelato sandwiches, stuffed croissants, crepes and all kinds of coffee items. We will definitely be back!
The owners and staff are always friendly and their gelato tastes amazing. Don’t think I’ve had a bad flavor yet!

A fun little spot with very creative flavors not your standard run of the mill of choices has some flavors with a unique twist to them but I believe enough variety for everyone to find something that they like. I highly recommend you plan to eat your treat there as the gelato can melt very quickly and cause a frustrating ride back to wherever you are headed (Note you can ask for it Togo and they will put it in a covered plastic bowl and in the freezer briefly to help it stay together)There's also much more to choose from like cakes, cookies, and cannoli's. I only went for a brief first trip and did not get to look at everything but it looked like there was also coffee and other items on the menu as well.Overall it's definitely worth the stop if you're on the fence and the gelato is good for sure as for the rest maybe on my next visit I can give something else a try.
It’s hard to find a good let alone great gelato shop in Texas. Boy am I glad I found The Gelatist. This place has some of the best gelato I’ve experienced. A great selection of flavors, patient staff and beautifully decorated interior makes this place a welcoming addition to the Katy area. You won’t be disappointed!
Great gelato shop. The gelato is super smooth, and the flavors are very bold. They also offer a variety of coffees and baked goods as well. Fun atmosphere and decor.I do wish they would have more than one scooper manning the gelato station - the line tends to get backed up right in front of the door.
Absolutely delicious!!!! My new favorite dessert place. Not only gelato but pastries as well. Yum yum!!! Always something new to try. Thank you to all the staff for being so helpful, friendly and patient with me as I try to figure out what I want.

Excellent service. Offered to let you taste and a container that keeps Gelato cold up to two hours. There are plenty of choices to choose from. Store is clean and employees are polite and helpful. I will go back
