Went to a wine tasting with my brother tonight. The bacon wrapped dates were glorious. The smoked Gouda was top notch. I had the chicken Paris without spinach. It was very tasty.
Was awesome, it was not were we intended to go for the evening.. but happens to come across it by accident. The service is awesome the staff was very personable the food was fantastic definitely recommend you try it.
The wine was great! The lobster bisque was blan and a little fishy. My burger was good but more medium than medium well like I requested. My girlfriend's Pear Chicken was very tender but blan as well. The atmosphere was quiet, cozy and great. If the chef can learn to season the food I won't have any complaints at all. Definitely a great place for wine and conversation for sure. Our server Sierra was a rockstar!
We had a very nice experience here last weekend. The food, service (our specific one was wonderful) and atmosphere was great. Not a very diverse wine selection but decent (more so by the bottle). I live in Houston/Tanglewood and stay away from chain restaurants as much as possible when I am out in Katy - with not many options for this so appreciated even more - it is cute and quaint. However, hard to tell that from the outside in the run down strip mall located in. But that is ok. Will definitely be back!
This was my first time going to any winery and I couldn’t be more pleased! The atmosphere was very nice, I went with a great friend and had laughs and she even got me to try wine ! Which by the way I don’t like but ended up having 3 glasses!

Cellar Door is an exceptional experience which is really a Gem in Katy. The staff I liken to “Cheers” (1980s show everyone knows your name) and really make you feel like family. I’ve been coming here for years and Ron, Sierra, Ariana are all just phenomenal. Come to wine tasting for sure but even for date night. it’s awesome true 5 star experience
I came across The Cellar Door while searching for a wine place for my wife's birthday this month. We live in Katy but neither of us has been to this place; however, based on online reviews I decided to have her surprise party here. I contacted The Cellar Door a couple weeks in advance, and everyone was so accommodating and welcoming. Special thanks to their manager Carter who did such a phenomenal job with the setting, and he even served our party of about 16 people himself. Both their wine and food options are nothing short of exceptional. All guests have nothing but good things to say about our experience here. I'm sure some of us will be back at some point. This place is highly recommended!
