Exceptional boba with cute presentation. I tried the milk tea and while the sweetness was present, it wasn't overwhelming and reminds you that you're drinking milk "tea". This taste can be difficult to achieve, and The Alley has shown itself capable in the two instances I visited on the same day. Vibes and interior are also cute with adequate seating when not during lunch and dinner. Keep up the great work!

I set the bar high when it comes to boba because I’ve experienced tea top and have tea top regularly, so this review is somewhat biased. The drinks were really sweet. Good place for a dessert drink. I prefer milk teas and didn’t really like the one I ordered. The boba is really soft and not that chewy. Overall it was ok, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back.

Located in Katy Asiantown we wanted to see what this place was all about after eating at Kizuki Ramen next door. It was nice to see a limited menu and the top favorites on the lighted board. I ordered a regular size Ube creme brulee brown sugar deerioca milk (listed as #2 fave) for $5.95 + tax. Let me tell you that this was one the best bubble tea that I ever had. Creamy not too sweet with bits of pieces of custard floating in the purple drink. I can do without the Boba and I have to knock 1/2 star so actual rating = 4.5 for not asking if I wanted Boba or not. Preferably not since I am watching my carb intake. My son ordered the regular brown sugar deerioca creme brulee milk which was the #1 customer fave. It was also delicious with pieces of creamy custard floating in the milk but he doesn't like Boba in his either but willing to let it go. Overall I would come back to try other drinks on the menu.

I’m from Sugar Land but I knew I had to come try The Alley. I got #1, I forgot the exact name but it’s like a dirty brown sugar milk tea and it was gently sweet but had a rich starchy flavor. It was pretty good! I also tried their jasmine milk tea and it was okay. The store is very clean and aesthetic, it was a good place to bring a group.

I came on a Monday afternoon so no line. I ordered the large Ube Taro Brown Sugar. The price was $6.02. The drink looked yummy, but the taste didn’t blow my mind. It was just okay. I would get some taro which had barely any sweetness in one gulp and then a lump of sweetness from the brown sugar at the bottom in another gulp. They offer cow, soy and oat milks. I’m a cashew, almond or coconut milk gal and I was surprised they didn’t offer almond milk. 10 stars for the cashier as she was awesome with answering my several questions and describing the drinks to me.

We came here after having lunch at Halidao. There was a line but not too long. 3 of us ordered assam milk tea, lychee green tea and royal no 9 milk tea. My friend wanted only 25% of sugar in her assam milk tea. Even though the employee warned her that it would be bitter, she still insisted on 25%. When the drink came out, she immediately regretted her decision. My royal milk tea with 50% sugar was sweet enough for me. I will definitely come back for other drinks.

Went twice. First time only ordered the Ube Creme Brulee Deerioca, second time decided to try the matcha brown sugar deerioca. I'm not sure if it's when I went but the matcha brown sugar was not that good, my brother got a brown sugar creme Brulee deerioca for the second time with me but he also said it tasted better the first time. For me the ube tasted good both times. So the ube is my go to flavor, I like it because it's rich without being too decadent. Other than that I haven't tried the other flavors.

Went there to try the rest of their snow velvet series. I would recommend it if you’re not into milk heavy drinks, it was light with tea flavor. I had the peach oolong and jasmine green tea. You can also ask them to just put 50% sweet level so it’s less overwhelming on the sweetness. The strawberry lulu was a slush texture, very good for summer. Also, I was surprised that they actually had hot tea as well, because it’s not on the menu. The hot tea were strong/dark in taste, with a hint of matcha/strawberry/chocolate powder, it would be a good winter drink.

Came here before dinner time to try their Royal milk tea and strawberry lulu. The place is very clean and the staff very friendly and organized.I was served quickly. Drink are very tasty. You can feel the quality after the first sip.Definitely coming back to try the brown sugar bobba milk tea.

I came here really excited to try the #1 drink, but I was disappointed. It was really sweet and tasted like pure milk. However my friend got the Strawberry drink and that was better. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back, but if I did I would try something fruity.
