The customer service was amazing, I was greeted upon entry. Although I got my order Togo the dining area was clean and there were separators at each table. The bathroom was clean and last but not least the food was delicious. I got the Frito pie dog, it took me a all day to eat it because I got the larger dog. I definitely recommend.
First off this is a place that does all the little things right. Atmosphere, customer service, cleanliness all and A+++. Only thing I take away from this place is that the flavor wasn’t as amazing as everything else, maybe that’s because it was first time and they told me to get a #1 but to me it was just a little bland. I will definitely be returning to try something else and will hopefully have my taste buds wanting more. Oh and the fries were excellent.

They treat you like family here. You’ll understand it when you walk in the door. Ultra friendly staff and the best hot dog I have found in Houston. AND they have another restaurant 100 steps away. Can’t wait to try that! Give this a try and it’ll be your dog too!
I've been hearing how wonderful That's My Dog is for awhile now, and finally had the chance to go there with my family. The food was AMAZING! Everyone in my family loved their hotdogs, the fries were wonderfully seasoned and delicious, and the service was so good! GO EAT HERE! You won't regret it. We will definitely be back!
I had Texacali and it was a little sour and sweet hot dog. I really liked the taste! All staff on the day were welcoming and friendly! They were so proud of their hot dogs and fries that made me wanna come back again!
First of all , thank you Google maps for finding this place..The hot dogs ...correction The gourmet hot dogs at That's My Dog are simply amazing. The richness of the buns is akin to Hawaiian Rolls . The smoked sausage as an option is brilliant, in a hot dog just great. The all beef hot dog is scrumptious , a well cooked and served to perfection.Now for the choice of dog you want deeply recommend the TEXACALI (first photo) , you will not be disappointed.The second was the #1 BBQ Beef Brisket Dog , the Brisket, a complementary mix of meaty, perfectly seasoned , and mixed with their spicy bbq sauce completes the experience. Not very often will I say , but you will not be disappointed.Their home style fries are seasoned and it feels natural, not too much not to little . I had to add the chili and cheese and I'm honestly done for today , as I don't want to ruin the taste from them.Add to the mix friendly staff , cool atmosphere, and general chill place . That's my dog earned these 5 stars . Definitely will be back.
Absolutely delicious.the best hot dog I have ever had (brisket dog).can't wait to come back and try all their other dogs.as a bonus the service was spectacular.Been back 4 time and this place gets better everytime.food,service is top notch.cant wait till the other restaurant opens.will definitely eat there too.
Today was my second experience at TMD and once again it was excellent. The first time I had the fish and chips (Friday during lent) and it was the best I’ve had. Today I had the Texicali and the flavors were amazing. The brisket was spot on, the heat from the slaw (I chose the medium spice) was perfect and the hot dog itself - yummmm! The crinkle cut fries were fresh and crispy - my only regret is not getting them covered in cheese as my lunch mate did. #goalsfornext time. The entire staff - Ryan, DK and Kenzie go out of their way to make it a true “family” experience. I only wish I lived closer and could visit more often. It’s definitely worth the trip and I can’t wait to try their new soul food restaurant when it opens soon. Hands down the best dog I’ve ever tried. You won’t find a friendlier place to eat!
We ordered the Cajun slaw dog and some soul food : (which is only available on sundays) so that we could try it all! The oxtail was AMAZING, same with the Mac and cheese and French fries! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because even though we knew there would be some wait due to popularity, it took way longer than anticipated and the staff didn’t communicate so well with how long it may be until it was our turn. If you go at a strange time there probably isn’t a wait! We went straight at 12:30/1:00 which was a busy time.
