Mac and cheese was the best.Fries seemed well seasoned but had no crunch. Was like a soggy French fry that was cooked again to crisp it.Good sized portions.Good service even when the place was pretty crowded.

We loved this place, fish tacos, hamburger, country fried steak, and lone star beer, and fried green tomatoes, the staff were happy, we had a good time

Very nice place on the inside, staff was very nice and attentive as well. Portions are prob the best thing, you really get a great bang for your buck. My 16 ounce ribeye with two sides and toast was about 32 dollars. Every place tries to sell you a 50+ dollar ribeye. Food was good, it wasn’t amazing or wow but it def wasn’t bad for the price. I’d like to try some other things off the menu and will def be back.

What a neat little Katy gem. We’ve lived in Katy for 3 years now and just now discovered this place. I always get nervous with little restaurants like these because they can be hit or miss. This place was a hit!Cute country decor, and very clean. Southern style cooking. We went right before a dinner rush. All of the staff were very attentive. The food was great - especially the fried catfish. We are excited to take our parents here the next time they are in down.

The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly. Everything was great!

In Katy, Texas off of 10 (sub of West Houston), is a quaint family owned restaurant called Texas Tradition. The owner is orginally from Illinois. They have a "pork tenderlion sandwich" on their menu. It is a good size, toasted but soft bun, tasteful breading and as moist as can be tenderloin!! You can get a combo with fries and a drink too. They offer many sides to pick from. I had fried green tomatoes. Since i live 10 mins away, I know where to go for my BPT fix!!!! I hope y'all will stop in and support an excellent local restaurant!!

delicious food and great service.

Staying at one of the many hotels off the highway, this place blows away all the chains. Worth the extra .3 mile drive. For a place that looks like it’s been there 40 years it’s SUPER clean. Not going to get a better steak under $20 and the service was out of this world. I’d rate 5 stars just to have these nice people serve me bread and butter.

Great staff and delicious food

The softest steak ive ever had . Cooked almost to perfection. Spicy coleslaw was on point. Hushpupies were ok. Great atmosphere great service. Had a back deck for live band and outdoor heated seating. Definitely a hidden gem.
