This was my first time eating Korean BBQ. I like to try things at least once. We ordered a platter of various meats (chicken, beef, scallops, squid, pork), the meal came with several bowls of rice, a red sauce, and several pickled veggies. We were responsible for preparing the meat at our table. We were a party of 8.This wasn't my type of meal, the only seasoning was pink salt and pepper. I prefer a variety of seasonings for taste. I tried it!!
Delicious, authentic, and traditional Korean dishes in a super humble strip center spot. Went for lunch and stayed a little later than expected because everything was clearly made fresh - no complaints here. Our server was a kind woman with a very maternal nature, and we appreciated her tending to us so studiously. Everything we had was terrific and FRESH. Seafood pancake and fried chicken were great starters, and the spicy beef bibimbap was a solid starter. Can’t wait to go back for dinner and try the family style Korean BBQ.

My wife and I really enjoy going to this place. The Korean BBQ is excellent and the soju is good too. The staff is always very friendly and we never have to wait long for our food.
The food and service are the best. Fresh vibrant flavors. The shrimp were sweet. The squid tender. Our entrees had just the right amount of heat.
At least, if you want to take out, avoid it.Two stars only for that great Korean restaurant lived in my memory. It used to be a very nice place with real Korean food. Have been there quite often and even the waiters know us. But after the pandemic, it seems to me the cook has been changed from a professional to a rookie. Ordered 3 times recently in 2021, nothing was as good as before. Pancake is even overcooked to black.... Well, price, as the rest of the world, has gone up quite a lot... Won't try any more.

Fun experience with family or friends cooking over a hot grill using quality cuts of meats and seafood. The fried chicken portion is big, hot, and crispy. There is a bell on each table which alerts the staff if you need anything; a novel way of getting someone's attention. Having had Korean Bbq in Seoul, TastyKo brought back great memories and will definitely bring the family back!
