You guys, so freaking good!!! Woke up craving some Venezuelan street food and this hit all the right marks. Tasty, cheesy and delicious food. I tried almost one of everything and I would recommend it all. I’m Venezuelan and I can say everything tasted authentic and just like my grandma would make! If you’re on the verge, give them a try and you will not be disappointed!
Buena presentación y buena sazón, especialmente con el mojito y el pabellón... las piezas son grandes, pero la masa es muy gruesa (para mi gusto) y considero q los precios están un poco altos.. buena suerte, pueden seguir mejorando y creciendo como marca.
Ampliamente recomendado para quienes quieran recordar Maracaibo a través del paladar. La salsa tártara es fenomenal. No olviden probar las empanadas de carne mechada!Lo mejor de lo mejor y en el corazón de la comunidad venezolana en Houston.
Wow - don't know why it took me so long to find this place. Fantastic Venezuelan bites. The pepita is the size of a golf ball, ordered empanadas and pastelitos also. Previous reviewer was right about the filling - they are very generous. I have to mention the cheese - it's the closest authentic Venezuelan cheese taste and texture. We lived in Maracaibo for 3 years and ate tequenos frequently. Missed the food so much and so happy to find something authentic. The Regular tequeno is the length of my iPhone and thick and only $1.95. muchas gracias Tartara Pastelitos!!! BTW, look for their carparking on the quantum dental site. It's part of a 5 food trucks selling other foods like Turkish food. We were posted to Venezuela for 3 years for oil industry so happy to be able to taste authentic Venezuelan again.
Las mejores empanadas de katy y houston y hemos probados casi todas. Mis hijas las adoran.. son crujientes y muy sabrosas parecen estilo oriental de Venezuela, las salsas tártara y la picante están muy bien. El tamaño no es muy grande pero puedes probar varios sabores por eso sin llenarte.. son un poco más costosas que otras pero valen la pena.
Todo bien.la única observación las papitas en la parte del centro están frias.
