consistently good, everything is fresh. inside is small but it's never "packed". we've been a few times for lunch and the service is quick! one of our go to's for sushi when in Katy. we don't do the all you can eat bc we like so many different things but if you can manage to color in the lines then it's a lot of bang for your buck
Second time here, our favorite AYCE sushi place in Katy. All the rolls we ate we asked for no sauce because it’s something we didn’t like the first time around. The sushi is fresh and delicious. Good quality food!
The food here is good but unfortunately the customer service makes it not worth the money spent. I’ve been a customer here over for 2 years, recommending so many coworkers, friends and family here. The “Tazzi” tier price was $35.99, then $45.99, and now it’s $55.99. The price increases could be due to inflation and rising costs. However, the current manager or the lady that seems to manage all activities there is just plain rude and unwelcoming. There are 2 servers but she is the only one that can get orders. And it’s impossible to get her to place more orders. When she is available, she gives such unwelcoming attitude when getting your order, making us not wanting order anything else. We notice she tends to be rude to color-groups and nicer to white-groups. I saw the other group trying to pay with vouchers, which they give you a stamp for everytime you dine there. She ignores that group since the time we stepped in. It was probably 20 minutes and they decided to pay with credit card and left unhappily. The other waitress is more accommodating and super apologetic whenever that lady seems to ignore your table. We feel better with the service thanks to the younger waitress. Tazzi used to be a nice place to get decent AYCE sushi, but with the price hikes and mediocre service, I would probably spend money elsewhere.
Literally my favorite go to all you can eat sushi spot. When I have a craving for so some sushi, I always find myself coming here. Excellent service and the quality of sushi is great for the price. The baked mussels are out of this world! Literally been going here since they first opened and have seen them grow. I will continue to keep coming here.I have also been recommending all my friends to come here and everyone is always impressed with their menu price concept vs quality of food.
Ate here for the first time today and we were very impressed. My husband’s mom is a sushi chef and he was amazed by how much fish they put in their rolls because most places try to use as little as possible but the rolls were very filling and delicious!
This is the best Sushi in town... Top ingredients, flavor and creativity... One of our favorite places to celebrate special occasions... Small place but big in quality and service.. Ashley makes your experience even better... so friendly and attentive...
Great food and great service
Such a random occasion that we went here! But I’m so glad we did! Delicious tempura and sushi rolls. Tiny little hole in the wall. There was 1 waitress and probably only 3 chefs. So it really gets busy quick with just 5 tables! I say get there during the off peak times to be able to enjoy yourself!
Horrible experience at this Tazzi Katy location!! There were 6 of us, each of us ordered 3 items per time as we were finishing our foods. Then this Asian waitress come up and tell us we will be charged 20% on the leftover foods. 10min later she showed up again and give us the check, we were still finishing and didn’t even ask for the check yet. SO RUDE !!! We told her we’re still finishing our foods, then she walk by us and say something in Chinese or another language!!!I swear we will never want to come back to this location again!!! And I definitely will share this horrible experience to all our friends and family. We did finished most of our foods, except the kids couldn’t finished their. Which is fine if they want to changed us extra 20% fee. I totally understand!!!But to “say” or “talk” bad about your customers in another language beside English in front of the customer’s face ???? That is so RUDE and I don’t like that! Please have the gut to speak English next time if you got something to say to your customers!!!!Please go somewhere else get your money worth !!Unless you want them to speak behide your back in their own language!!Never again ! Please be aware of this location !!
How does one eat good AYCE sushi, Japanese food (i.e. Not overstuffed with extra rice), & Korean side dishes (like Kalbi) all in a single meal within Katy? I only know of one answer: Taizzi. While they are not the cheapest AYCE sushi place around, the quality and sheer variety of specialty rolls (from authentic to experimental) make up for it. Will be coming back in the near future!
