Cute sea theme inside and the Tayaki was very good! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The milk tea icecream did not unfortunately taste much like milk tea. But the ube ice cream was good ?
so delicious and made right in front of you! You build your fish and decide whether or not you want it in a cup or in the fish itself. Then you decide on the filling, flavor of ice cream, and topping! You can add as many toppings as you like like graham crackers, oreos, fruity pebbles, etc. It was extremely creamy & fresh.The customer service was phenomenal and the place is quaint & small but good for small groups of people.
Love this place. Great ice cream and homemade cones which are still slightly warm. They have multiple flavors that rotate. The line is usually long but it goes quick and they let you pick some different toppings with no extra charge. We also got their homemade strawberry milk which was really good. The location is perfect for a family outing or a quick stop as it’s right in katy Asia town near a great bookstore and tons of restaurants and has good parking. I live nearby but know many people who drive from far away to get somisomi
Cute ice cream Waffle cones, with a silky smooth soft serve. The mistook my order of a 2-flavor swirl (Strawberry and milk tea) for just milk tea. But I realized after I’d driven away so I didn’t mind it all that much. The milk tea is very much like vanilla. You don’t get to try flavors before you order. Apart from the soft serve ice cream‘s they also have fish shaped waffles. The fish shaped waffle that goes on top of the ice cream is surprisingly soft, while I was expecting it to be more like a waffle ice cream cone.5/5 for how cute the presentation is.
Solid ice cream. Flavors are different every time but the one pictured is horchata. The tayaki has taro cream in it. Together they made a good flavor combo.Easy dessert spot to pick in the Katy area, but there is a crowd on weekend nights.
I rented lunch time, but there were many people.But the ice cream came out blonde.I ordered Ube and strawberry and it was so delicious.Especially, Taiyaki was so delicious.I put custard in it.
Perfect after dinner dessert! Their soft serve is creamy and delicious. We tried Ube/Horchata with graham cracker topping and Strawberry/Milk tea with fruity pebbles topping. Both Ah-Boong upside down in cup style. The waffle cone is everything you'd expect it to be. Definitely recommend if in the area.

While busy, SomiSomi has fast service, and you even get the added bonus of watching the employees make your order. I highly recommend getting upside down ube soft serve with red bean filling.
Cute place for soft serve ice cream. You can get it in a bowl or along with waffle fish. There’s a handful of flavors, not too many options but they are good. Perfect for hot day!
Busy but they are very fast. The ice cream was soft and creamy and the waffle fish was crispy and delicious. There isn’t any sitting in the shop just standing tables.
