Korean Karaoke

The food was ok. I felt like it was food you can purchase at Hmart. It is more of a drinking and snacking vibe. They do have karaoke rooms that are really affordable. For one room it was only $20! We had a great time but service was alittle slow.

Highly disappointed! Walked in around 2pm today for my birthday lunch/ dinner and literally no one was at the front desk or bar. Now I know we came at a rather odd time but that’s not the actual point. Not only was there no one there “in sight” but a few minutes after seating ourselves a lady came out and saw us but never acknowledged us at all! She had a try of food so I know she had just walked out of the kitchen. We are pretty laid back family but when we sat there for about a good 10 minutes and still no one acknowledged us we walked out! That’s too bad I was hoping this place was good because of the feed back but boooo you lost a customer and I would not recommend anyone!

I’ve been here a couple of times now for the karaoke and the food, the karaoke rooms are pretty spacious and easy to understand after an explanation. The food is very tasty, you can order food and drinks in the karaoke rooms as well.I did have trouble with a door last time I went though, it wouldn’t shut and that was giving me and my group a bit of trouble. Overall though, this is a great place to come and hang out with friends.

Our first time here. We arrived at 9:30pm. Seated immediately. They have so many options on the food menu. ?The food came out quickly, and HOT! I ordered the seafood Udon. It was very good. Imitation crab, squid, fish pieces, and clam. Green onions, and they Noodles were great too. It was filling for me. My husband ordered smoked Bossam, pprk with raw onions, garlic cloves, and raw jalapeños- he said his was good, just wished they came with a side of rice, or noodles. He is a big man 6'4" almost 320 pounds (ex football player) so he eats large portions. We didn't realize every thing is a la Carte. So you must order each item individually. (Found out after.) They have an extensive drink menu. Hubby ordered strawberry ? soju. It tasted like a very smooth strawberry vodka. I ordered Tea. I was very shocked and disappointed they do not have hot tea, and only have canned Lipton Brisk Tea ? They also have Karaoke next door. We didn't go but could hear the 'singers' through the walls. This is a very unique restaurant/bar. I would like to go back and try more of the menu. I recommend for a date night or a group party.

Well, we left in the middle of the meal. We didn’t go for alcohol, but for food. The food there were terrible. We ordered kimchi pancake, army hot pot and crispy chicken wings. We asked to take out the chicken wings when we left, so not sure how it taste yet… But the kimchi pancake and the hot pot were tasteless. No kimchi flavor at all.

We were looking forward to trying this place. We saw it on Tiktok. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant when we arrived at 4pm on a Sunday (maybe 3 other tables), yet our food took forever. When we got our "chicken" plates they were overcooked, dry and we couldn't tell what part of the chicken it actually was. Definitely cooked in "old" grease that desperately needed to be changed. The drinks ($9 ea.) were made by the host/waiter/table busser who seemed to be working alone. They were slightly tastier than WATER! Horrible!! He mentioned the bartender wouldn't arrive until 6:30pm??? That should have been our first clue. When we told someone about our food, they just said "sorry" and walked off. We spent over $60 for this low quality food and poor service. Oh yeah and our booth seats were ripped to shreds.Never again!

Great spot in Katy Asian Town. Yes they have kareoke, specifically kareoke rooms that you go to. But they also have a wide variety of food and beverage options. I had the spicy Korean wings which were 5/5 amazing, and the smoked bossam (pork belly) which was 4/5 really great. And there are countless other items on the menu to try in future visits. Next time I'll bring a few other with me so we can all try a larger variety of dishes. Lastly the wait staff and bar tenders are super attentive, and friendly. They are quick to make sure you are taken care of.5 star experience at Soju, definitely will be back.

We have been here a few times. We had a great time every time. They have a Korean menu, even the, drinks. I'm excited to try everything, the Korean soup and wings are my favorite. They have quite a selection of music for karaoke, although no country music. For a reasonable fee you can rent a PRIVATE room! There are, however only 3 rooms. There's a bar, booths, and tall tables.Open late which is great.

I didn't experince the karaoke, but the food was very yummy! The spicy cream shrimp and honey chicken were both delicious, the Mandu however tasted like hamburger helper and wasn't something I would get again. It wasn't busy at all when we went but the wait was very long as it appeared there was only one person cooking, serving tables, and making up the orders for pickup. However he was trying his best and overall was a positive experience but give yourself at least an hour to 70 minutes.

The food was good we sang in the karaoke room it took a while to understand the remote because it is in Korean. My coworkers n I figured it out with the help of the staff we had fun the shots were good.
