This is my 3rd time visiting this place with my BF, our server this time she was nice and very knowledgeable, I took her food recommendation La sifrina and it was delicious. The server from our 2nd visit was there and remembered us. Everyone we've gone the foods excellent and the servers are friendly
I really appreciate that after the meal the servers seem to ask all the customers about their experience and if they have been to the restaurant before. Even though many people are just stopping by for a quick bite, the attitude of the staff is very kind.
I really loved their mini arepas with the nata (Venezuelan sour cream) and Queso Guayanes! I liked the crispy exterior and the soft, latke-like, and sweet interior (sans the onion and savory taste).For my entrée, I ordered a Pabellón Criollo, which is shredded beef with rice, black beans, and fried plaintains - it is very similar to the Cuban Ropa Vieja. The beef was all right, but what captivated my taste buds was the black beans. They had the perfect seasoning of cilantro, which I adore and reminded me of my native Mexican cuisine.I will come back to try the Bandeja Paisa next time!
Best Venezuelan cachapa and chicha we’ve have been eaten in Houston! We live one hour away, but believe me when I say: I’ll come back! Ricardo was our waiter, extremely kind and attentive.
Food was excellent, especially the cachapas, cachapas were big and with a lot of cheese. Pastelitos, empanadas and tequeños are very good too. Toddy was way too sweet for me and the sopa de res could have been a bit better but it was not bad at all.
Yummy...ymmy...Best of the best.

Tried to place order over the phone , when promoted to talk to operator the call drops. Called other Sabor Venezolano in HOUSTON and i got Poor customer service.
I got a sudden craving for empanadas de cazón so I ordered them on Ubereats and they were sooo tasty! They called me saying they didn’t have the 4 large ones we ordered and asked if it would be okay if they gave us 8 medium sized ones instead. I appreciated the timely call. It’s my first time trying this place and after seeing the menu, I really want to go in person and try more food!
They upped the bar on Venezuelan food and goodies, everything was great.
