Had the opportunity to visit the second location of this tasty BBQ joint in Katy and had a great meal.Loved the ribs, brisket and boudin.The greens are amazing.Seasoned just right.The elote was a bit too salty for me but still pretty good.The interior is nice!Has a full bar for all of your alcoholic pleasures.Plenty of seating and ample parking.If you are from the area or just passing through give this place a try.It'll fill your belly and put a greasy smile on your face!?

Finally got to the new Roegels Barbecue Co. in Katy. My goal was to try the Smoked Turkey Katsu - Smoked Turkey Panko Crusted and flash fried, topped with coleslaw, pickles and spicy mayo. Holy moly what a flavor bomb! This is definitely a top 5 sandwich for a BBQ Joint.We also got the house made classic mild sausage link, 1/4 lb of smoked turkey, a pint it Mac and Cheese, and a side order of loaded mashed potatoes.
We got here less than an hour before close, so of course they were out of dinner items we wanted. Got most brisket and jalapeno cheese sausage and both were great. Sides very decent also. Can't wait to come back and try the pork belly! Will have to come earlier next time for sure. They also have a bar, didn't get anything to drink but it looks nicely stocked.
It's good que. I ordered a two-meat plate with brisket (lean) and sausage, along with potato salad and pinto (ranch-style) beans. Both the brisket and the sausage was moist, tender and I had good flavor without any sauce. I've never had potato salad with specks of dill like that but it was really good, too. The beans were ok. The mild sauce was okay but the mustard sauce was different, kind of like a mustard vinaigrette which was spicy yet good. Also, the bathroom were (not spotless but) decent. I'll definitely come back.
Don't let the good looks of this place fool you, Roegels BBQ has some great BBQ. I ordered a family meal with a pound of brisket, pound of sausage, and pound of ribs. All of the different meats tasted awesome and there was NO need to use sauce. The sides we got were excellent as well. We got loaded mashed potatoes, collard greens and pinto beans and we were not disappointed. If you are in Katy and want real BBQ, stop at Roegels and you will be very happy.
A M A Z I N G good and customer service!!! The southern hospitality is ? perfect. We found our new favorite BBQ joint. Brisket was perfect, boudin was incredible, sauces were on point. I’d give them an award for their service and BBQ honestly.
Very good! Had the 1/2 chicken plate with their loaded mashed potatoes and cucumber salad. Breast was a smidgen dry, but not at all the end of the world. Rest of the bird was perfect. Sides were good. Staff friendly. Place clean. Prices reasonable. Would recommend!
So I called them on Saturday at 7pm and they close at 8pm just to frame this out for you. When Angela answered the phone she was so polite and nice like they just opened the doors for business LOL! The food was fresh and plentiful…. The baked beans were packed full meat and flavor, the brisket we had was moist cooked to perfection. They were out of Mac and cheese and ribs unfortunately. The potato salad was cool. We tried the banana pudding but unfortunately that will be a pass the next time. Moving on to Saturday my brother said hey since you have tried the ribs and Mac and cheese I am bring some over today and he did. So needless to say it was good! We are happy that they are in the area. We will be back to eat. There customer service on the phone and it person is what has won us over!!!
