Food quality is very good. Food is fresh as well. Which is far better than other establishments. I had bbq ribs and brisket with baked beans and potato salad. Now I will say the potato salad should be kept cold for safety reasons and flavor as well. The potato salad was warm. The ribs were awesome. Full of flavor and easy to eat. Very tender. Brisket was very good as well.. I noticed the barbecue sauce is different. It's a thin sauce but still has plenty of flavor. Eat your heart out papa's BBQ. Red River has you beat in every area across the board. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Staff is polite and friendly.
For a BBQ place in Katy, it is pretty good! Better than their competitors - with no doubt. Customer service can vary on being excellent to poor since they seem to have low qualifications on who gets hired. The place stays pretty clean, if you decide to dine-in. Overall, great food and great location! Highly recommend.
So my husband heard about this restaurant and how good their burgers were, which he ordered and loved!! But I ordered the combo spud which was a baked potato with two meats (I had chicken and chopped beef). The size and amount of meat on the potato was awesome!! But it was not hot barely warm (but eatable) which in turn made me not hungry. Though I finished my food because I hadn’t eaten all day and didn’t want to wait for it to be redone I pulled through.. All in all I can say that I would try them again.. ??♀️
Good service and pretty clean. I went for the all you can eat ribs. I feel like I got my money's worth. While the ribs had a great taste, they were more fatty than I'd prefer. The sides were definitely on point, though. Plan to give it another shot sometime down the road.
Excellent food options and very tasty. Definitely share if you can so you can taste everything and sit up at the booth in front of the cutter. Fun to watch the masters do there thing. Staff is friendly but we never was asked how our food was or checked on...not a biggy as they were busy. Will go back and recommend
Texas barbecue in Katy! This is a good barbecue family place... we had the burgers, ribs plate, and 1 meat brisket plate, also had the 2 meat plate with turkey... delicious plates! Sides are ok...

First time trying this cute, little place. Very friendly staff, very outstanding food. I would definitely recommend someone eating here if they need a good barbecue place to go to in the area. I do see my Husband and I coming back to this quaint, family oriented restaurant again.
This little BBQ place has a great atmosphere. The food is prepared and presented well.. the food is delicious and the staff very friendly. Very clean… I would definitely eat here again and suggest to anyone to come here for great food, great service, and a family atmosphere..
We ordered 2 family pack for pick up. It was prepared earlier so it was not that warm enough. But the brisket was great. Juicy and soft enough. It needed a bit pepper and salt. We were 10 people and we heated them for the next day too. And it was still amazing. I highly recommend it for crowded groups. There is room to improve the timing for warmer packing.
