This was my second time ordering Rakuu for a work meeting. The first time wasn't so bad. This time, I placed the order online about an hour and a half before the requested pickup time. It was a pretty large order, for 9 people.. We had a 1245 pickup time, and the food wasn't ready until 1315. Our meeting was at 1300, and it was 30 minutes late arriving. My coworker was at the restaurant waiting to pick up over 30 minutes. There was one one person in FOH, one in the kitchen, and one person at the sushi bar. This is definitely not efficient staffing for lunch hour, maybe they're better prepared for dinner. The food was okay. But we won't be back due to the attitude of the guy in the front.. He kept telling us 5 more minutes for spring rolls for like 15 minutes.. When we asked to speak to a manager, there was allegedly no manager on duty. There was no apology for the delay..
Comfy Asian Restaurant with ample menu. We tried the sushi and it was very fresh.
This is our new favorite restaurant for sushi. The atmosphere was relaxing, the music was fantastic. The decor and the lighting were casual elegant.Between all of us, we got the pho, three kinds of rolls, chicken fried rice, a steak dish and sashimi.Everything was tasty and fresh. Tylor, our waiter, was phenomenal. He was patient as we asked a lot of questions and gave excellent suggestions. The presentation was well above average. Any other pho restaurants would serve it in a large plastic $1 bowl. The pho bowl was somewhat artisan and functional as it came with a lid to keep the broth hot. The pho sides also came arranged elegantly.The chicken fried rice contained an abundance of protein and egg, and the stickiness was a good consistency.Pricing was very reasonable.
Was very impressed with the shaggy dog and spicy chicken ramen! We will definitely be back!

The food was delicious! Perfect temperature and good quality fresh tasting food. Service was excellent! Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive. The restaurant was clean. The ambiance was nice. Dim lighting, clean, open, and stylish. A good date and family place.
We will definitely be coming here more often. Good customer service, clean restaurant and the food was amazing. Thanks!
