This is by far one of the most raggedy poor customer service Popeyes locations in Houston. I’ve never came here and got my order correct thru the drive thru. Every single time missing things from the order. The workers hate their job and have the worst attitudes. Just don’t expect anything of quality.
The food was pretty good, and the staff was amazing, but I tried to speak to manager and they told he was not available at the moment, I said it was fine, but when I went back around and noticed somebody with a blue Popeyes shirt, which seemed to be the manager, flirting with a girl in the parking lot. I just seemed really weird to me.
Went to taste the new Flownder Fish sandwich. Great taste and combination of ingredients. Got the spicy one. However, I was expecting a more tasty flownder, closer to the real thing.
Could understand almost nothing the girl on the intercom said. She was also at the window and communication was no better. I ordered a 2 piece, all white, dinner with red beans and rice, and a 3 piece, all dark, dinner with red beans and rice, and was charged accordingly. I received two 2 piece all dark dinners. Both orders were wrong. This is unacceptable service!!!
We ordered 2 two piece meals at store #13326 at 6:05 pm this evening, February 6 2022. First, the person on the speaker taking our order spoke broken English. We had some trouble getting our order right. We each had a breast and TWO wings, side order and drinks. When we got home and opened our bags, the chicken was horrible. It had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time. It was partially burned, and so dry it practly choked us to eat it. Ticket# 626. We won't be back.
Inconsistent service. Sometimes you'll have a fast experience and food is good. Other times you'll get the wrong order and you'll be waiting in the Drive-Thru for 25 minutes with only three cars ahead of you and the food is cold . The location is convenient but better options around.
The manager here is rude! They sold me some red beans and rice that was spoiled. The smell of the beans was horrible like it been sitting there for weeks. When I told him about I he started speaking in Spanish and slammed the drive through window. He truly lucky I had something to do I would had say in the drive through til they closed !
Seems like to be an employee at Popeyes, you must possess an IQ of a box of rocks . Guy with gold chain and bracelet, who could be a Mgr, was more interested in flirting with an employee rather than fulfilling half of our order and not getting either order correct after the fact. Why is it that Chick Fil A or Canes can handle a huge order correctly, but Popeyes can never get an order right?
Popeyes’s fried chicken sandwich, fried chicken and french fries are good. If you come to American, don’t miss it.
I have given this place too many chances. It seems that they are always attempting to get over an pull a fast one. The staff is nice, but the effort they put in to cheating you out of a fresh food experience may reach above the people actually preparing the food. It just may be a culture of short cuts. I’ve been there 2 different times and got a box of chicken that appears to be fried the dipped back in the grease to make it seem hot and fresh. So if you go there close to closing time beware. An 8 piece chicken meal should have 2 each of the 4 pieces of chicken. If you are not aware, they will give you wings and legs (the cheaper pieces) in place of your breast. I’ve had to ask them to give be the proper pieces on several occasions. One time we had a function so as a last resort we decided to go get a big box of chicken. Got it home and it smelled and tasted like fish. We took it back and the manager admitted it may have been cooked somehow on the shrimp grease. He did exchange it, but that should never happen. I attempted to call them to keep from writing this post, but the number listed is never answered. The last straw was them not correctly placing the top on the beans and now we are cleaning beans out of the car. Again, the staff is nice, but this place is not your typical Popeyes when it comes to freshness and taste. I’m headed to the one on Pin Oak or I-10 and Mason.
