Palinuro compares very favorably to any high end restaurant, but still moderately priced in comparison. Absolutely outstanding food. Roberto was the Maitre’d, Sommelier and also our server. We 100% placed our trust in him to serve us whatever he recommended and he did not fail us. $480.50 all in including well deserved generous tip for Prosciutto and melon appetizer, two bottles of Poppone, Wheel pasta plus one each Beef Tenderloin, Chicken petronio and Halibut entrees for the four of us and one kids pasta made to order. Can’t wait to go back. And don’t be put off by the underwhelming strip mall entrance;, it’s wonderful inside.
I’m not sure if the food was good or their friendliness made the food much more delicious. Mr.Roberto was very kind and friendly, we felt like we had dinner at a friend’s house, not at a restaurant. My friend and I sat for 2 more hours after we finished our meal (there were plenty of tables available for anyone new that came in) , and the staff did not make us feel like we overstayed :) Thank you Palinuro, I will visit again soon.
It was a very pleasant surprise to find such a nice cozy romantic restaurant. The service was attentive and nice. The food was delicious. We had an appetizer with a nice selection of cold cuts. My one criticism is the hummus could be a bit more flavorful. The main entrees were amazing. The pasta dishes tasted so fresh.

My husband and I went here for our 10 year anniversary and I couldn’t have been happier with our choice. This is by far some of the best Italian food I ever have had. I had the pasta cheese wheel with the black truffles and grilled shrimp. I am a major foodie and have been to Italy and this dish tasted so authentic. I was so happy to find a place like this in Katy. Our who experience was wonderful from the time we walked in the doors to when we left.
This is the best pasta I have had in Houston! Very fresh pasta. Obviously the chef cares about the quality. Worth the drive from wherever you are. Get a reservation because it is intimate.
Cozy place to enjoy company and dinner and have a pleasant conversation. Our waiter was very attentive and courteous. The food, incredible good.
