I got their cheeseburger and added bacon and grilled onions. Since then I have been back numerous times. Easily the best burger consistently that I have found. I have had a better burger but when I went back to that other place, they never can make it as good again. Mid Way gets it right every single time. Also the fries are great and the onion rings. If you like sliced bbq beef sandwiches, they are really good too.also the store has good meats! Definitely give it a shot if you are looking for a good burger. Also it's never crowded. Hidden gem type place I guess.
They serve some very tasty and interesting sandwiches and burgers which can be ordered to go (in person or online) or you can enjoy the indoor eating area. The meat market, which is basically an old school butcher shop, has excellent cuts of beef and pork. The sausage variety is excellent as well. With the basic selection of vegetables and fixins they offer, you can cook up a superb meal at home as I do, regularly.
Midway!!! is the best old time grocery store That has been in the community for generations where you can get fresh cut meats, lunch and dinner. One of my favorite places to visit here in Katy. My favorite things to get from midway besides the fresh cut meats at all times, Is there a barbecue brisket baked potato and bourbon pecan pie.
Heard about this place for years on AM radio. Brought in a buck for processing this season. The finished meat products were excellent. The summer sausages and Cajun Rolls are a must have. The packaging is great and won't freezer burn. Friendly helpful staff.
Many in or out of Katy are familiar with our iconic Midway BBQ. Fewer people are aware of its sister operation Midway Meat Market and Deli, just a short drive down the street. Being in the area today I decided to give it a try.The enviroment of the small space is both homey and small town. The look and feel is more what you would expect while on a hunting trip than a big city “deli.” The hunting and fishing trophies scattered about add to this feal. They are located in a smaller shopping center, but the interior is very comforting.The menu is heavy on burgers, BBQ, and such along with breakfast staples. They also have specials every day of the week. Today being Friday, and never being one to pass up a Philly Cheesesteak I ordered the combo since it was today’s special. Even though I arrived late into breakfast, but not quite lunch time the counter staff did not skip a beat when I ordered from the lunch menu when most seemed to be still ordering breakfast.My order came in a resonable amount of time. The roll was obviously freash and very soft. The roast beef was some of the most tender I have ever tasted, and was well seasoned. The peppers and the rest of the filling added a pleasant contrast in flavors that was far from overpowering. The mac and cheese i had as my side was warm and creamy, but the noodles were not cooked to death.The next time you are in Old Katy pay them a visit at 5901 Highway Blvd. they are open 8am -7pm seven days a week. I doubt you will find disappointment on the menu !
Even though my husband always goes here it was my first time going inside I have to say I love the place the selection and equality... Top it off the people Have friendly faces and lovely attitudes

Got takeout here, and the burger tasted really unpleasantly burnt, as if they didn't clean the flat top at all. It was also quite tough and chewy; not much fat in the patty, or overcooked? The fries, chicken, and brisket were all pretty good, but having an off-tasting burger kinda spoiled the meal.
