The food was served hot and quickly. They have the best tower of calamari in town! It was much bigger than I thought it was going to be. The chicken was great, loved the juice and moistness. The prices are fair and the service is excellent.
The fatty was INCREDIBLE. Good brisket and pulled pork, sausage was excellent, mac and cheese was definitely something special. All on a perfect brioche bun. Husband had the briskey sliders from the happy hour menu, and a side of greens - both really good. Will return to try their staggering options. Nice decorations
I've been wanting to try this BBQ joint for a long time but just never made it down since I'm never in the area. Thankfully this changed a couple of weeks ago when a couple of friends suggested we head down.As usual we ordered too much food but loved every bite. Apart from this epic meat platter we also ordered their smoked wings, fried chicken legs, fried cauliflower, cornbread, and mac and cheese.
We called the company without any recommendations so we had high hopes. We we're pleasantly surprised with the service they provided. They arrive quickly and on time. They found the leak and they fixed it for us without any delays. They were very pleasant and knowledgeable. I would HIGHLY recommend Midway Plumbing .
We ordered brisket, chicken, and turkey, baked beans, potatoe salad, peach cobbler.Brisket- It was good, but lacking flavorBaked Beans - just okay, taste like someone opened a can of beans and that's itChicken - need some flavorTurkey- was tender, but tasted a few days old like it was in the refrigerator for a while.Potatoe Salad - Was really good!Okra - really good!Peach cobbler - was more like a dump cake, it was not all that good.
Five stars is not enough for this place. I used to work at a factory down the street and ate at this place for 2 yrs straight. Great sliced brisket sandwich and it goes so well with the seasoned fries. On one of my last visits I tried the Millionaire BBQ burger. Imagine, brisket, sweet bacon, lettuce and tomato topped off with Bleu cheese crumbles. Absolutely recommend!
This is my fav bbq place in the Houston area. Classic Texas bbq. What it should be and not trendy. Reasonable prices. Side of fried okra way big but freshly cooked and I ate them all.
Don’t waste your money or time.We ordered the chicken friend chicken and it had NO FLAVOR, just chicken I tried to dip it in the gravy but the gravy didn’t have flavor either.Also ordered the two meat plate with ribs and sausage and guess what it was COLD.I told the cook that my husband didn’t complain until he was done eating because he’s not the one to complain. The cook asked what he ordered and I explained and he didn’t say anything. Didn’t seem to care not even oh I’m sorry about that, nothing.There was another lady who checked on everyone except for us. She saw us but didn’t ask, not that she was going back to work and that’s why she missed us she just went back to talking to her coworkers.BANANA pudding was terrible. I tried exchanging it because I explained that it was thick like jelloton and watery/ foamy on top (seemed old). Lady I spoke to was looking at me as if I shouldn’t be complaining or asking for an exchange. I was able to exchange it for a pie because another gentleman jumped into the conversation saying sorry about her and about the pudding.LIKE I SAID DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
Tiny little place that has some great BBQ. They were out of quite a few things when I ordered that I wanted to try but I ended up getting the fatier brisket and jalapeño cheddar sausage beans and coleslaw. It was all very good! Perfect quick stop on the way through. The only thing I wasn't super fond of was there BBQ sauce it was a bit to sweet for my liking offset by spicy but was just not my cup of tea.
This was our first visit to Midway Barbeque Junior, but it certainly won't be our last!!! We had the sliced brisket sandwich & potato salad. The brisket was so good & so tender, I think it melted in my mouth!!! Lol The potato salad reminded me of my mom's, & I loved her potato salad. All in all, we were very satisfied & can't wait to eat there again!!! I'd give them 10 stars if I could!!!
