Food was delicious & Waiter was Amazing?
I am very dissatisfied with this restaurant. I i’ve been to the one close to the galleria and expected the same from this one. I was excited because it’s close to my house but the service was not good. I asked the waitress for butter and she took about 10 minutes to bring it to me in the meantime my food got cold and I had to eat it before it got any colder without butter. she passed by us several times and did not ask us if everything was OK. My mom called on her because there was too little dressing on her salad and she ignored us. I know the waitress heard us she was literally touching our table with her hip. when I asked for a buñuelo it was brought cold to me. I am Colombian and I love hot buñuelos. If you ever do go let them know you want a hot buñuelo or else they will bring it cold. The one in the galleria area gives them at a warm temperature. also when I got my small Arepa it was cold. My mom asked for a cup of coffee she said it was cold also. Colombia is known for their coffee it should be hot not cold especially if you are from the older generation like my mom. What made me the most upset is that she passed several times by our table and continually asked the people at the other table if they were OK and served them completely ignoring us. I have read the other reviews and the responses from this restaurant. I don’t understand why they acknowledge the review but do not change the service. almost everyone is complaining about the poor service I will not be returning to this restaurant.
Food is good but service sucks. Seriously. We frequent the location in Houston and it is a very very different atmosphere. The Houston location has great, friendly, and most importantly, fast service. That location is always busy, yet they’re so good about everything. I wish this location was the same, but it is not. Slow slow service, takes forever to be acknowledged.
Vey clean; lighting is also good! Service is not the best instead rather dull and unfriendly -our waiter was a very young guy maybe he was shy- but food is okay we’ll comeback…actually food is very good although service was lame to start it got better much better later on we were treated to free “tinto” tiny delicious black Colombian coffee; “maracuya” -passion fruit-cheesecake and bakery “liberal” a little “arepitas de maiz” with Bandeja Paisa were also delicious … and the best NOT too salty at all
Food is delicious. The Prices are a bit high. Service is very slow but friendly. I really like that they brought me a ladle to share the soup.
Went here because I had to take care of some business nearby and was hungry. My first impression was that it was pricey and the ambiance was OK. I still sat down with my wife, but it took a long time to get anyone's attention. Finally, the server approached and took our order and then it was a long wait to get our food. They only had one server. Since it is a Colombian restaurant I had to get some Colombian coffee. It was served cold and did not offer refills. Never again!
I have been eating here a couple of times and I like it, is pricey but good things are...but today will be my last visit to this place, I picked up my order, when I got home they forget to give me my drink but they didn't forget to charge for it, and the food...omg? no taste at all, was horrible!!!!! Flavorless, rice and the creole sauce were disgusting so very disappointed with the food not worth it very very bad 2 plates and 2 sides for 53dls and seriously check your food.... really bad.
Its a little pricey for the amount of food you get, but good food
