The patacones are the best!! Sooo good! And the chicha too!!
My first Arepa. Mt gf said I needed to give this a try. I was good. All english speakers may have some issues but I had spanish girl with me that made it a bit easier. I am still not sure I could order by myself but the food was good enough to try.
It's called maxi arepa but the place didn't have arepas or cachapas available. I was very confused why they would open but not have their most famous plates. We ordered empanadas and they were very dry.
I came here at 7:30, please take note they open at 7 am. And they didn't have half of the menu to choose from. The name of the place is Maxi arepas and didn't even have them. I ordered cachapas and later tells me they don't have those either until later. When I get my money back I don't get full refund. And the empanadas weren't good, tasted like tuna.
Worst service I have ever experienced. Waited 30 minutes for 2 empanadas while others who had ordered after me got their food. Told three different servers eight separate times about the situation, and there was no apology about the delay. Arrogant until the end.
The food was good but not somewhere my wife and I would go out of our way to eat again. The service was great.
It's your typical Venezuelan flavour, staff is super polite, bilingual, and prompt. If you're into arepas, cachapas, patacones, tequeños, you have nowhere else to go but Maxi Arepa. Also, if this is not your cup of tea; give these ones a try... You won't regret it. :)My plates are always left empty clean.
This place is a Venezuelan jewel!Katy is known for it’s multicultural population, and this is a great place from Venezuelan food, and the prices are spot on! Arepas, empanadas, pastelitos, and much much more!
excellent service, food is delicious, the place is comfortable and clean to eat
Patacón was amazing! Food is good here??
