The style of place is more of getting takeout but they do have tables if you decide to eat there. Love the katsu here! It’s extra crunchy and affordable. The portions are pretty big so I got the mini meal which is pictured. They have cabbage with the meal which gives it a refreshing taste.
Went for the first time and the guy at the counter was super helpful. When he found out it was our first time, he made suggestions on entrees and even how to customize them for the best expierence. I should have gotten his name but charge it to my head not my heart. He brought our food to us and everything. The customer service was A1. We decided on the seafood mix with the garlic shrimp insread of fried. It was delicious. I dont know what I expected but it beat all my preconcieved notions. We will be back!
Went for the first time today, had the Hawaiian BBQ mix and it was good and flavorful! Would definitely come back to try out some more. The Crab Rangoon wasn't as tasty as we thought it would be. That's something we'd skip the next time. Was thrilled to see Lumpia in the menu but disappointed that they didn't have any while we were there. We would definitely come back to try out some other items for sure.
The food here is so delicious. Every bite was somehow better than the last! I had the kalua pork which I could eat all day. The food is exceptionally flavorful! Service was wonderful as well! I can’t wait to make this one of my regular spots.
Very good food and plenty for your money. Macaroni salad was my favorite. And the meat and chicken juicy
If I could give 4 and a half stars I would. The food is really good. We ordered Beef Kalbi, Kalua Pork, Katsu Chicken and Hawaiian Bar B Q chicken which in Hawaii is AKA Huli Huli. The only reason I would give this restaurant one less star is for the beef kalbi. Being in Hawaii for 7 years I ate this food alot and kalbi is pretty consistent around the islands. The beef kalbi here is missing the citrus and sesame oil flavor as well as being cooked on a grill vice a flat top. The rest were fantastic! The service was great and was out really quickly and it wasnt crazy on pricing. I would recommend this place if you love Hawaiian food!
Wow! Let me tell y’all, this food is incredible, not only the beef, chicken and short ribs but especially the macaroni salad. Big surprise, and while lines at chain restaurants across the street were still slowly moving this is one local place you should try.
Wow!!! A lot of food for a great price. So many to choose from that I wanted to order it all. Great taste and friendly service. They have lumpia!!!

It is the best Hawai’i BBQ in Houston. Clean, delicious, good service. Teriyaki chicken is my kids’ favorite. Kastu chicken is the best favorite for me! Will come next time!
