Visited here Saturday night 7-3-22 after a trip to Typhoon water park. We arrived around 9pm and they were not very crowded at all and we were seated immediately. Chips and dip came right out and we got our drinks served rather fast. Me and my son shared and meal and a appetizer. We ordered the Mixto Frito and two shrimp stuffed jalapenos. We got served the Combo Frito, which only came with one piece of fish and the stuffed jalapenos with it. I could have sent it back and made them get it right, but the chips and dip and our meal was so good, I didn't even complain. My only complaint would be the servers couldn't even understand English, so when we asked for more red salsa, the guy didn't understand what we were asking for. Overall, though, the service was pretty good and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend if in the area, visiting the water park, the mall or staying at La Quinta, which is right across the street within walking distance.
They brought me 2 kinds of salsa, avocado and red one . I started eating red salsa with chips and I liked it , it was warm and tasty . Then I found a piece of human hair and that ruined the appetite. My grilled food was delivered quickly and I kept checking it and hoping that I would not find anything else while eating. I was offered salsa but I refused it . I don’t like eating Mexican food without salsa . I didn’t eat beans and rice for the same reason . I enjoyed their draft beer , it was fresh . The restaurant was packed on Friday night . My server was good , service was good in the restaurant on a busy Friday night . I will not come back to this location. You may find a pic attached, pic of the grilled food .
Great place to grab delicious food and drinks! Our server was attentive, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the prices were reasonable! I’ll be coming back!
The dipping sauces for the chips were incredible! I enjoyed every bite! I have had large shrimp before, but it never tasted that good before, the seasoning was great! It was a really good experience with family. All the flavors were on point, the seasoning was excellent and the staff was extremely polite. I'll have to come here again sometime!
The BEST food and the FRIENDLIEST people consistently over the past 15 years we’ve eaten there. Which isn’t a lot because we live a bit away from here. But when we’re craving great Tex-Mex, it’s worth the drive to Old Town Katy for the best ever!

I have to call in every time to make sure I get everything I want.To go ,everyone is Nice and gets food quickly.
After voting, I wanted something good to eat. The scrimp fajitas are delicious, the corn tortillas are the best I've had. Everything on the plate was delicious and fit my hunger to a "T". I'll definitely will be visiting again!
It’s good but can be a bit lacking, for example the beef tacos can be really chewy and that’s annoying. That being said, I’ve been probably 5 times in the last two months so it’s normally great. Stuffed avocado is worth a try but make sure you’re hungry as it’s a huge plate.
