Heard this place had really good fried mozzarella even looked on there menu and seen this beautiful plentiful fried mozzarella with some great looking dip so I placed the order well to my surprise after paying for the order and tipping 30% I opened up a container to find 2 mozzarella sticks in fact I got more marinara sauce

My wife and I discovered La Estancia recently and have enjoyed several wonderful meals there. We brought our adult sons this week, and they loved it. The pasta is excellent, as are the desserts. I have had a snapper special twice now that was so good. Highly recommended for a relaxing Old Katy Italian experience.
LOVE this place!! So authentic and the owners are so very charming. The food is the best Authentic Italian you can get in Katy. Atmosphere is warm and relaxing. No liquor license so bring your bottle of wine. Can’t say enough good things about this awesome little authentic Italian restaurant!
The food is delicious! More a of a date night spot, romantic dinner. The customer service needs work, the gentleman tried but it would be better. Overall, good experience

I ordered the chicken Alfredo and added mushrooms and also got fried mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were eatable, then my entree, oh my goodness! I have never had worse Alfredo sauce!!! No flavor at all, super blandness as if zero garlic was used! And my mushrooms were not sautéed, just cut up white mushrooms. The server asked if we wanted some cheese, fresh parmigiana is what I expected but what I got was the sprinkles that come in the bottle and he used a spoon to dip out of a bowl. Oh, and the waitress asked would I like a salad and I said yes, so the salad was alright but if you think it came with the meal….think again, nine dollars for the salad that I ate half of. He asked if I wanted a to go box , I said no and told him what I thought of the food. I still tipped 20% but I will never eat there again.
Awful service!I had Chicken Piccata and they put probably 10 lemons, so it was EXTREMELY sour!!Also too dark inside, could barely read the menu.
Service super slow and bad, owner/waiter did not know menu items. Food came out cold and dry. Water on the plates from poorly drained pasta, pasta overcooked and mushy, veal reheated, chewy and inedible. bug in my salad had to return. Horrible experience and there was no one else in the restaurant but our table, should have been a sign for us to leave.
Was disappointed in the food and service...bread was slightly burnt, the appetizer, calamari was pretty good. Wife got Lobster Rivoli but I'm not sure there was any or at least very little Lobster, tasted more like blue crab. I got chicken parm. Chicken was very good but the angel hair pasta was over cooked to the point that it was just easier to cut pieces from it than twirl it on my fork.I'd heard great things about LA Estancia and maybe this was just a bad or off night. It was an expensive meal for the quality and it will be difficult for me to go back for a second visit.
