something needs to be done about the drive thru. horrible horrible horrible. you’ll literally wait in line for an hour with only 3 cars in front of you. happens every time. this has been an issue for so long I don’t understand why it hasn’t been resolved. Save yourself the time and go to Tapioca Express across the street. Their drinks are better anyway.
This was my boyfriend’s favorite place when he lived in Katy so he brought me here for my first boba tea experience — ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!The taro tea, with tapioca, is amazing!Their reeses peanut butter cookie is one of the best I’ve ever had.
Got this disgusting drink and when I complained to them. They told me nothing is wrong with it lol.
I'm sure they hate my order but its a must have everytime I am in Katy. Spicy popcorn chicken and a mango black tea. The spicy popcorn chicken is unbelievable.
I love a good cup of tea and despite what many believe or will tell you, I drink more tea than any other beverage. I love the countless options for tea and the growing number of establishments I can visit that specialize in tea. One I have tried and liked very much is Kim’s Teahouse, a fun place to visit for tea and food.This location on Mason Road in Katy, Texas features a medium- sized interior that can seat about 50 or so people. It is common to have to wait in line to place an order, due to the popularity and quality of the food and drink, but I have always been able to find a place to sit. The colorful art murals and other features make for a comfortable place to plop down and drink your tea while you converse with others, work on your laptop, or otherwise pass the time away.The number one reason to visit Kim’s Teahouse is for the wide assortment of teas. I like the large display of drinks on the wall and the numbering is good because you can order by number and be assured of getting what you wanted. But don’t think that the glassware you see depicted in the pictures on the wall is how you drink will get served. This is for show only. The drinks are served in large, ordinary plastic glasses with a seal across the top.I have liked every beverage I have tried from here, and that includes everything from strawberry tea to almond cream tea and others. Many of the teas come with added boba, tapioca, jelly, etc and that can make them even more fun to drink, especially for kids. Oh, and if you’re not necessarily in the mood for tea, they have coffee drinks and smoothies, too.With the food, the options are limited, but the snack size is just right for a quick meal. I like the spicy chicken the best, but the egg rolls are also good and, again, they match well with most any drink. The service is quite efficient for a place that is so popular and when I think about everything Kim’s Teahouse has to offer, it easily rates as one of my favorite places for tasty tea and an accompanying snack food, and it’s a place I will continue to visit.
As an boba lover , Kim’s tea is my favorite place to go place to get my boba and of course need to include the lovely squid ball !!!! I don’t usually go inside but everytime I do I always have a great experience !! Very friendly staff. Absolutely love it ?
Tea is my most consumed beverage and I am always looking for new tea experiences, new flavors, and new ways to make and sample tea. Lucky for me, teahouses are growing in popularity and one place located not far from my house that I have been to many times and like more with each visit is Kim’s Teahouse. This specific location is in Katy, Texas on Mason Road, which is one of the main roads in the area. Walk inside and the first thing you will notice is the large, colorful art mural along one of the walls. Stand in line to place your order at the counter and you will see a large display, showing the different teas and other drinks. Each drink has a number, which is good because it means you can order by number and feel good that you will get what you wanted. The display shows curvy, tulip style glassware, but this is for show only. Your drink will be served in a plastic cup complete with a seal on the top, to prevent spillage. Kim’s Teahouse serves a large assortment of teas and I have loved everything I have tried from here. I tend to gravitate toward the cream teas, but they have other teas also. If you’re not in the mood for tea, you can order one of a handful of coffee drinks, smoothies, and even fresh, natural juices. This latter option is especially appealing because it is something you don’t find in the typical teahouse. With food, Kim’s Teahouse sells several different snack foods that are served in just the right portions to make you feel pleasantly full, but not stuffed. I like the spicy popcorn chicken and the chicken strips best, but the calamari and egg rolls are quite nice, too, and everything goes well with most any drink. Teahouses are popping up with greater frequency and Kim’s Teahouse has quickly become a family favorite. The tea, the fresh juices, the smoothies, the food, and the positive service and colorful atmosphere make Kim’s Teahouse a great place for a tasty cup of tea in this west Houston suburb.
Today was my first time at Kim’s and I really loved it!! The service is good, the girl was so sweet, the boba tea was amazing I asked for the coconut cream tea with tapioca and I was feeling a little wild and I added some mango poppers? It was delicious!! And the gave me my “Buy 10 and get 1 free” card!! Definitely I’ll be back
Usually I have nothing but good experiences here, but today was much different. I came here and met a few friends, and as we were talking, this elderly woman came up to us and asked us to help her get a ride back home because her Uber was not working, and she was willing to pay anything to get back home. None of her family was available, and she had been waiting over an hour, trying to get the app to work. She was very desperate and none of us were too sure how to react, so one of my friends went to the cashier to tell them about the situation and see if the workers/management could sort out an arrangement to help the old lady. They responded very rudely and said “that’s on you” and suggested it was our problem. They later came over just to tell the lady to not bother us without in any way addressing her situation. After we realized management was going to do absolutely nothing for this lady who was very tired, we tried fixing the Uber app on her phone, but as she said, it was not working. Ultimately, I downloaded the Lyft app and purchased a driver for her so she could get home. She was very thankful and paid me back, but my friends and I are very disappointed with management. They didn’t care to do anything to resolve the issue or help this lady get back home. They were extremely rude and offered absolutely zero help. How do you build a “Kim’s Communitea” when your own workers are turning their backs on their customers and their needs? Upsetting. Do better.
I’m a regular & really don’t like to complain. I don’t understand what’s going on at this location. Every since I’ve made 1 complaint to the manager in the recent past & it was a valid complaint. All my orders have been horrible. I ask for medium spicy popcorn chicken. I either get home from work with extra salted popcorn chicken, extra greasy popcorn chicken or extra dry tasteless popcorn chicken. What has changed? My name is Sampson.
