Worst food ever. I ordered two Masala dosa and one Samosa chat. The dosa's are not made properly, all the sides/middle have the raw batter. Kids didnot even ate a bite of it. The coconut chutney is made with dry coconut powder and it also has some hair in it. Immediately discarded. When I opened the samosa chat , it smelled like non-veg. Being a vegetarian was not able to eat it. They might fried the samosa's in the same oil as the non-veg items. I never tasted the masala curry that was so worst.The veggies and the tadka seems burned in the sambar, tasted very yucky and watery. Not even a single item tasted good. Complete waste of money and time. I ended up cooking for the kids. Also, I placed a clear note in the uber order to pack the masala separetely and it was ignored as well, which is not a big deal at all, if the food tasted atleast 1% good. Not going to order anything from here again!
Awesome veg biryani!! I had pick order one less spicy and other spicy. My guests enjoyed a lot.
inconsistent quality, sometime ok, sometime bad. Yesterday it was really bad, When I told the guy to change the puri because it was not cooked properly, He was making faces as I am supposed it eat whatever they offer me. I don’t know why these people cannot do quality control, maybe something to do with retaining cooks. Won’t be going back to this place again until it was resold to somebody else, which looking at what they are doing will be soon.
I ordered chicken biriyani take out. It was a smoky flavored stale biriyani with mummified chicken inside. I wouldn't recommend anyone!
Horrible food and we had chicken Tikka that had undercooked meat and the staff did nothing about it when we brought it up to them at the restaurant. Please avoid going here, the food was horrible.
We are vegetarians…Ordered paneer and what we got was chicken… ordered Gulab jamun and felt like it was from tin pack….some food items are good but their customer service and food quality needs to improve.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.Poor quantities. Ordered Goat biryani/ egg fried rice/ chili chicken. Biryani was avg but very low in quantity. I felt sad when I saw egg fried rice. I found chunks of fried eggs in between very hard rice. Poor in quantity. Couldn’t find any difference between chili chicken and chicken 65. I’m heavily disappointed with this place. Wasted $34
We ordered chicken biryani and chicken curry from this restaurant on Jan 16, 2022 - the worst restaurant food I ever had! Chicken biryani was stale and chicken curry was sweet. I do not recommend this restaurant.
Horrible food:(. We ordered mirchi Bhajji, onion pakoda, gulab Jamun, samosa chat . None of the items except samosa chat was good. Will never try this restaurant again.
Possibly under new ownership, and definitely with a new name, Katy Bakery and Biryani serves up very tasty South Asian food in a hurry. We had butter Chicken with a couple of samosas the other day, and the whole family enjoyed it. Not too spicy for the kids, and it took about 10 minutes from the time of ordering to pick up the food from the kitchen. Excellent service, too!
