food was just bad. portions small....and just not authentic.
The Korean BBQ and tofu soup combination is amazing. Well worth the money! I wish they offer all vegetables instead of the meshed potato as the side dish.
Restaurant hours are not true. Closed most of the time. Please investigate.

I learned to love kimchi jjigae when I lived in Okpo, S Korea. I eat it everywhere I go. To my palate, this is the best. Quality is consistent. Spicy the way I ask. Sufficient rice. And the banchan is top notch. Easily better than anywhere else. Potato salad not too sweet, just right. Prepared fish cake slices perfect. I can always eat more, it’s so good. Best kimchi jjigae around.
First I had to wait 15 min to order since the person who was doing register wasn’t there he had a sign so it okay. I order the ribs bento and got the bulgogi. He realized the mistake and went and made the ribs but when it came out it was warm not hot and charred like it was suppose to be (figured since I was waiting) the meat marinate was just way to sweet that I could t even eat it even my husband who loves sweets thought the same! I mean the whole experience from the beginning to end was just bad for my first time trying out the place. I should have known to order else where when he wasn’t there to take my order.
Terrible service. Waited for almost 30 minutes. Order didn’t arrive. Have to cancel the order. Customer service was very rude too
Recommend? Yes if you're in the area. I don't think this place was bad by any means, but it just wasn't for me. There was an older Korean couple that came in and I think that has to count for something. I ordered the veggie dumplings, tofu jigae, and veggie pancake. The veggie dumpling had a beautiful crisp to it, but the stuffing was fine. Tofu jigae was loaded with mushrooms which was great, but I did find the flavors to be a bit light. The veggie pancake was a bit thicker than I would like.
Their ordering system through Yelp never works and when you call to place an order no one ever answers. This is happen multiple times over the past several weeks. Very disappointed with the service, if it wasn’t close by I would always rather buy from the Bellaire location in Chinatown.
Says it opens on Sunday from 11. I came at 12 and they weren’t opened yet. Limited choices on food. Order took more than 30 mins to make. Doesn’t have miso soup on the side, I didn’t ask since the guy seems not care. Food was ok, not great but not bad.2 stars because they are not the worst overall, but I will obviously not come back.
