Hungry Howie's is paying employees 10/hr at this location. My order for one medium and cheese bread took over an hour and a half with no update from staff or the app.Staff appeared frustrated, overworked, and completely burnt out when it came to customers or their job.Do better. It's 2022, treat your employees like people, and maybe your employees will treat customers right.*Corporate and the location somehow found my information and reached out. Hence I have now left a detailed comment.
I was in the neighborhood and wanted something other than burgers. The reviews were very good, so I dropped in and ordered a Flatbread pizza with multiple mats Veggies with the garlic herb crust. The balance of flavors and textures were great. I loved everything about it. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will look for a reason to come back this way.
Love this place! The garlic flavored crust is sooooo good! They are always nice and my food is always on point. I won’t go to any other pizza place. Been eating hungry howies for over 10 years
This place will leave you hungry!! I ordered my pizzas and 1 1/2 hrs and 6 phone calls I still have not received anything. It wasn't until the 4th call that the person told me they were short on drivers. I am less than a mile from the store. This is disappointing!!
Normally don’t do reviews but I had to with this one. I ordered pizza that didn’t quite come out right. The supervisor at the time had just stepped out so I couldn’t get a refund and I was upset. Thats when Mr Quince the manager who was not on duty at the time called me. The associates said he would call me but of course I didn’t think he would it was late at night and I’m sure he was home with his family. He called me and apologized for the issue made sure that I knew he would be able to remake the pizza for me and give me a slight refund and another item free of charge. I was beyond happy because I really love this pizza place and it’s very close to my home and I didn’t want to not come back. He made sure to let me know he wants to keep me as a customer the little lose he would take making the pizzas again was nothing compared to losing me as a customer. Most places don’t care because they will just get more customers. I’m giving 5 stars even though my food was wrong because his professionalism and alertness was outstanding. Mistakes happen in life that’s what makes us human but it’s about how you react that shows your character

Great customer service! My pizza's were perfectly made! The Male cashier is an amazing employee and I appreciated his service, help with choice and conversation! Love the fact that we're from the same City! #Detroit !

The pizza and all the food is fantastic but the beverages... OMG!!!! This place has every kind of beverage you could ever want... as long as you want Mountain Dew, Sierra Mist or bottled water. What gives??? You guys are ALWAYS lacking with the drinks, worse than literally every other pizza place I've ever been to in my nearly 50 years! Come on... get with the program!!! I really want to give you 5 stars because the pizza is awesome and the drivers are courteous and fast. Please, I beg of you... please give me a reason to bump it up to 5 stars.
