Medium of the line, decent food. Modest pricing. Where I have had better Italian food even here in Katy, this is an enjoyable and affordable place to dine.
We had a wonderful family birthday celebration here Saturday. A lot of staff is new but they're very enthusiastic the seasoned staff keeps the place running. The kitchen staff is superb! I can't recommend them enough
We made a last minute choice to eat here. This place has definitely improved since it first opened. They have upgraded the inside to a more modern look. The menu has also improved whete its got more appealing dishes. I got the Perfect Portion plate, which is a light but filling dish. It had a small portion of chicken breast, salad, and a soup! Overall, it was good.
I have ordered from this restaurant many times through doordash. I made the mistake of ordering while 4 months pregnant, spaghetti and meatballs only to find a very light and extremely long piece of hair wrapped in my spaghetti. I immediately threw it up as I disgustedly and unknowingly ingested a piece of it until I felt the length. I will never order again from this place. As a side note, the bag it was delivered in had 3 security seals so there was no way it was the driver and it was already wrapped inside the food. Disgusting!!!!!
Hasta la Pasta has been in Katy as long as I can remember. We went in recently though and the visit was much different, and for the better!First off, they have completely changed the inside and "separated" the dine in area into two separate rooms. The original atmosphere is still there on one side, and then the other side is more open, more well lit, and "self service". Now this might seem odd, but it's genius. You go the counter and order your food, then go get your own drinks, then when the food is ready they bring it out to you! So you don't have a waiter or waitress, you just go in and order what you want and voila a much quicker experience.As for the food, just as good or even better than before. We had a meatball pizza which was cooked perfectly; thinner crust and healthy amount of toppings. And we had the chicken picata; which was probably one of the best chicken picatas I have ever had and the portion was very generous. Most Italian restaurants will bring you a frail looking chicken, but this one was large and amazing.All in all a great visit to a local tradition and we are definitely looking forward to going back soon. Service was great. Clean. Tasted authentic. Mahi Mahi was slightly over cooked but fine truly. I’ll be back!
Just drove by and decided to give it a try. Unassuming place in a Kroger strip mall. I’ve tried the other Italian place a few doors down and it wasn’t worth trying. But Hasta La Pasta was excellent! Order up at the counter and they bring your food out to you. The Rapalla was delicious. Different with goat cheese but adds a nice twist. Very fast service and friendly staff. Will be back again!
The food here is EXCELLENT! Always fresh and the service is impeccable! I’ve eaten here many times and I’ve never, not once, had a bad experience.
Outstanding food and service- gluten free options to boot. We picked this place out of the hat on the Find Me Gluten Free App after a night out and this place rocks.We started with salads (gluten free modified), and while they don’t have GF bread- our companions said it was good. Had the Brussel sprouts as a starter. Dinner came out on large plates and it looked wonderful. The first bites told us we made the right call.Between the gluten free penne with Alfredo sauce and chicken and the gluten free pizza it’s become our local Italian go-to when we are in the area. Our dining companions had the regular pasta options and said theirs were delicious. Portions were good and we ended up with some take-away for tomorrow which is good.Staff is friendly and knowledgeable- we took recommendations and were happy with the choices.Spacious dining area, a full bar, friendly staff, good prices, endless fountain drinks, and absolutely awesome food. They have indoor and outdoor seating options. Handicap accessible parking, dining room, and restrooms.Definitely going to be back here again and hopefully soon.
Hasta La Pasta has become one of my household favorites. Although I rode pass the restaurant daily, I gave them a try via Uber Eats and have been hooked ever since. My son enjoys the spaghetti with homemade meatballs and extra meat sauce. Well seasoned, flavorful & generous portions. The staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. You won't be disappointed ?
