Huge portions and amazing flavor! Staff was super friendly & I love that breakfast is served all day (we came back the next day for the breakfast tacos, they’re soooo freaking good)! The saddle seats tickled me & had to post them. They even have free rolls and corn muffins which were so hard to not take away more than what we need they were delicious! We didn’t get a chance to make it for lunch or dinner but I’m sure it’s just as great!
Took a trip to Houston to get a part for my truck and a high school friend that lives there recommended this place. We met them there and it was good. My wife was happy cause they sold breakfast all day. She got a pancake meal that came with brisket and I got the 3 meat plate with brisket, ribs and sausage. Everything was good except the brisket could have been a little better but overall the food was good. Will come back if we make a trip back to Houston.
The staff here are so so kind! Will definitely be coming back, because of how welcomed I felt. Hospitality and great customer service go a long way.I love their brisket, but the sausage was a little salty for me. In contrast, the boiled peanuts lack salt. Also, the pickled jalapenos are amazing!
Pulled Pork, loaded mashed, mac&cheese. All very good. The pulled pork was a bit fatty, however we were there late. Idk, maybe that's why?♀️ bbq sauce is very good. Place is clean. I wish I had more time in the area to try out the breakfast foods.
I had a taste for some smoked meat and saw this place in my Google search. This was my first visit. The atmosphere and the food was good! My favorite was the loaded potatoes. The staff was really friendly!
I have been at this place in the past and had excellent service, but today it was terrible. Waited for 1 hour, an no food had arrived. Asked for the manager, so I can see if my order was getting processed, and the manager never came out. Employees didn't know anything. A little frustrating, 10 minutes later a waiter came out and told me that 2 of the dishes were not available. At this point my kids are super hungry. 10 minutes later food came out, with no apologies at all. I will have rated higher this review, but there was not any kind of apologies offer, The restaurant was not full. There were more than 6 persons asking for their money back, and the staff will not even apologize to those customers either.
Good brisket and sausage. The sides were good specially the spinach. The green beans need more cooking, they were kind of crispy still with the raw beans taste. The liquid they were cooked in was tasty though. Had some corn bread it tasted good. My issue is the whole kernel corn.Took some peach cobbler for later snack, looks good.
Good ribs and spinach...okay staff and service. Mostly self serve here.
Good food, clean place, nice staff. But I wonder if they have a turnover issue. It seems like I always have to explain my order like it's something new. I say "small chili" and they look at me as if I ordered fish head stew.But it all works out. Their chili is really good. Everything is good. Going there is something I look forward too. They have lots of competition for bbq and breakfast but they hold their own. The location is a little difficult
