I guess upper-management hasn't visited this location lately.We thought they redeemed themselves with a recent visit after having a bad experience on our initial visit....I guess not.First off, upon arrival they tell us that the empty table of four behind the hostess stand is reserved. Then they try to explain that reservations are only for parties of eight....uh, that table is for four.Rosemary gimlet that we ordered might as well have been a lime-ade from Sonic.The pizza besides taking forever the picture says it all. And instead of the manager bringing it over to our table to apologize for the giant hole, he left it our server to try to explain it. Then the manager tried to explain that the mixing of green and red sauce made the pizza flimsy when it was taken out of the oven. Remind you that we've been ordering it that way for years without incident. They did offer a free small pizza, maybe next time try sending it out without the grand canyon. OBTW, our server did offer great customer service and wish I could rate just him to give him higher marks.Probs that we won't be returning to this location.
A little late writing this review. Ordered 12 pizzas for a birthday party a few months ago and mentioned in the order notes that the pick-up was time specific. I got there and the order was ready to go. I appreciate how accommodating the restaurant was. Everyone enjoyed the pizza! Will definitely come back.
Hi everyoneI have came to place for first time as my sister suggested to go this placeI for the dinner with family yesterday(mother’s day).nice food and awesome service.but only thing frustrating was temperature inside is really hot and mentioned our concern to Waitr but that doesn’t help anyway.as kids are feeling so hot we couldn’t able to spend some time in dinner,felt really bad for my choice.
The pizza was good but we found glass in our salad and they didn't feel much of an obligation to make us feel better about that outside of remaking the salad which seemed a little off to me. The manager was very "couldn't of been us" when we told him about the glass in the salad. The pizza was really great though so I guess it you don't care to eat glass, it's worth giving a try.
Legitimately and seriously the absolute best pizza I have ever had in my life. Nothing even compares. Tried the lemon arugula salad for the first time tonight and was so impressed. Pizza is consistently fantastic every single time. If you want amazing pizza, come here.
Pizza was great as usual. I would've given 5 stars but we waited almost an hour for our pizzas. I could understand if they were full but they weren't. I really hope it was a one time occurrence because the food is delicious!
Wonderful pizza! Not great at keeping their expected pick up times. Ordered online three separate occasions and waited over 20 to 30 minutes each time past the expected time. Very kind about it but it can be frustrating when you’re planning for an event and plan accordingly. So heads up, plan on picking up your order 30 minutes before you actually need it.
We sat at the bar and had a great time! Wonderful drinks and service. The pizza is awesome with a crispy crust. New York style and they even make the water for the dough like New York water. The salad was excellent and very fresh. Not super fast but worth the wait!
I debated whether or not to post my experience...decided to do it. You've been eating Grimaldi's pizza for about a year now and thoroughly enjoyed it. it's been a while since we've been at this location. I especially like the prosciutto and arugula pizza. this time we ordered three pizzas and I went by to pick them up. three big issues. first, they were running 30 minutes late on my pizza, and I had to wait near the bar area. Not fun. second I was observing the bar area for 30 minutes. The poor bartender was trying to manage the to go orders as well as 10 bar, a nearly impossible task on a Saturday night. he was doing his best but clearly couldn't keep up. I noticed on one red wine order by a customer he had put out the wine in a carafe. The server came by to pick it up imported into a wine glass and must have noted some kind of uncleanliness on the tip of the wine glass. what I saw next appalled me. he used his fingernail to scratch off whatever was on the glass, it was really disgusting. I really had it in my mind to walk back to the table where he was going to serve the wine and let them know about it. I want them not doing that, but I really should have now. The third item was when we got home the pizzas just did not taste very good and for the money you spend it this place I expect a much higher standard. I won't be going back to this particular location but will continue going to other locations. hopefully the management will see this and make changes to improve their performance.
ordered a pizza over the phone and the girl said it would be an hour and a half wait. i told her that’s fine and she said she’d give me a call back when it was ready. she never called. i went to check at the restaurant about 1 hour and 15 after i placed the order and my pizza was not only ready.. it was COLD. tasted like the cardboard box it came in.
