This was my first time here. I got a take out order. General Chao's was tiny pieces of chicken and pretty tough. It was disappointing. Shrimp with lobster sauce was very small. The flavor was good until I put it on rice and then it disappeared. The other reviews saying the portions were huge? I didn't think so. I'll be looking for another Chinese restaurant in the Katy area.
My family came here for lunch. 2 adults and 2 kids. We all enjoyed the venue and food. They have friendly service and delicious entree. Our favorite two dishes were garlic sauce chicken and orange chicken. This place is kids friendly. I’m sure you will be able to find something for your kids to try. We can't wait to go back and try their dinner menu. Give this place a try!!
I am delighted to say that my hubby and I have found our new go-to spot in Katy! We tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago and have been there 3 times since! The food is delicious and affordable. Excellent service with humble staff. Food comes out lightning-fast and is always super hot and fresh. They do a great job with pickup orders on their app. All-around exceptional neighborhood restaurant.
The sushi was warm, buffet items were cold, and it all tasted terrible! This was the first time that my wife and I ever left a buffet hungry. If the meal was free, I wouldn't eat there again. For the price of $23 for two lunch buffets, one could do way better! Please avoid it at all costs!! It was definitely your restaurant. Also, I am NEVER passing by again. I would not eat there if the food was free!!
Absolutely the best service! We dined in. I did not catch the lady’s name, but she was super attentive. The food came out quickly and tasted great. Found our new favorite Chinese restaurant.
They changed owner. Now the male owner is not that good in service, not friendly and food quality has been lacking. There used to be two ladies or a lady owner worked there and they are great. Now the new owner took over and the service and quality are not the same. The hot & sour soup they no longer put green onions on top and the taste is not as good as before. The steam rice and fried rice they use extremely low quality rice and it is so dry. If you do business like this you will loose all your loyal customers.
I have to seriously give a shout out. Not only to this place, and the really good food that is ONE, Very important, is CONSISTENTLY Good. But the service absolutely upstanding and above so many others in the area and further... one particular person I must give acknowledgment to, Ms. Anita.. my what a pleasure she is each and every time I visit this location. I would not be lying if I said that she holds so much of the reason for return each and every time. This woman after working an entire shift on a Friday night, undoubtedly busy the whole night, will see me approaching on my motorcycle and run my order to me outside before i can even flick the kickstand to park my bike... I mean, that is a level of service you WILL Not receive anywhere else I can guarantee you this.. so Ms. ANITA. I Thank you for your kindness. For you appreciation and memory of your (for not very long) regulars, and your incredible customer service and hospitality. I hope the owners see this because she is truly an asset. But ALL employees have been so nice
My family and I LOVE this place! The food is so delicious and the staff is very kind. My daughter loves the Sweet and Sour Chicken. My boyfriend and I are obsessed with the General Tso’s Beef! The flavor is on point and it’s cooked to perfection! The restaurant is always clean. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful which is very appreciated. Highly recommend! Wish I could’ve taken more picture but my family devoured their food. ?
Simple restaurant with really great food. Generous portions. My son and I went for dinner and both of us could've eaten from just one dish. Will return.
