First time after being recommended: expectations have been met. Godfather’s is my new go-to for pizza! Their food is great and made just like I requested. I don’t recommend dining in as the seating area is ALWAYS dirty.
Really good pizza! ? It has been a few years since I had Godfather's. We recently ordered to go for a family gathering and everyone was saying how good it was. Best in Katy!
Security tape was broken on box, called store to ask why tape was broken. The employee that answered the phone had an attitude and said "I don't know how it came it off". I asked them if they make another pizza if security tape is broken. The rep on the phone said, "just go pay for another pizza on line and pay for door dash to deliver because they were short on delivery people". Unprofessional and argumentative!! I paid an extra $10 for delivery. I have never had an issue like this before with Godfathers pizza and this was an horrible customer service experience!! If you put security tape, USE IT PROPERLY AND YOU WON'T GET QUESTIONS OR COMPLAINTS!!!!
We've lived all over the US and Godfather' remains or fav for pizza chains. It's always hot, fresh and so flavorful. We were so glad to move back into a Godfather's area!!
I tried the large original all meat pizza and they put 6 meats on it and it was the best pizza ever!! And my friend and I tried the garlic Parmesan wings and they were better than wing stop!! 10/10
The one thing I like most about this restaurant is they actually give you toppings on your pizza. It tastes great too! I enjoy this pizza over other competitors in the area.
I ordered a lg beef pizza and naked wings. Very disappointed. The wings were not cooked very well leaving the skin with a rubbery texture. And a rancid taste. The pizza was crust was old and over cooked. Not the soft and chewy crust it should have been. I threw it all away after driving 30 to the location. Complete waste of money.
Okay, we've been a fan of godfathers for many many years. I know this location is in its infancy, but... They've got some growing pains ahead of them. We called to order for carry out and asked about any current specials and the person that answered the phone wasn't aware of anything other than referring us to online specials. We indicated that we were driving and we're not able to even consider looking at an online special. Seem to be a little trouble some for the person to assist us, but understand that they could have been busy. We finally placed an order arrived about 20 minutes later and paid for the order and then told us it was going to be another 15 or so minutes. There wasn't even another pizza in the oven that we could see from standing in their lobby looking directly into the pizza conveyor oven. We received our order about 15 minutes later, and went home with the pizza. The flavor and sauce were just as we remember it. But growing up in the Italian food and pizza business, we recognized right off that the dough had been sitting around longer than it should have and so the crust didn't have that familiar godfather's soft yet crispy texture. It was just very chewy. I hope they can get things squared around because it would really be nice to have them, as we remember them, here in the Katy 99 corridor.
Im not originally from Texas & Godfathers is from the state that i was raised in so for there to even be one here is just amazing. They provide the same awesome customer service as well as their pizza being hot, fresh & perfect every time. The gentleman that owns it is very professional & welcoming.Definitely the best pizza in Katy!! :)
Pizza was mediocre at best, way overpriced for what you get. The girl work in the front/cashier this must be her first job ever, because she was so scared and so afraid her own shadow would probably frighten her. No service skills whatsoever. Would definitely go down the road to HungryHowies, 1 million times better and a lot cheaper with better service.
